1. Used bumper will definitely be the best idea cost wise. Just "PM" the member trader/professional traders I linked by hovering your cursor arrow over their username and ask them for stock availability & prices. Failing them (which I doubt) have a good look through the member traders for anyone breaking a HR Zed.
2. Another trick you can try; Using your breaker bar ~ firstly try to tighten the bolts up a little, ...then go to undo them.
3. Incredible car. Not a fan of the colour he's chosen though, ...just doesn't look good imo. Each to their own though.
4. Depends, ...from a Nissan dealership everything from a plastic trim clip to a door mirror glass is bl**dy expensive!! If you know what parts you need & don't mind good quality OEM used parts then try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning. zmanalex: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Emperor Tuning: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/232-emperor-tuning/ If you would prefer new items at a cheaper cost than at the dealerships then I believe Clark Motorsport are who you'd be best off trying first. Clark Motorsport: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/207-clark-motorsport/ Hope that helps.
5. Welcome aboard Dxb. Nice Mustang you had. Take a look at the 370Z members build threads for some inspiration. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/188-member-build-projects/
6. Best picture on the first page that came up on a google search. You're welcome Chris. Fingers crossed it's nothing more than minor damage to your bumper then. If the bumper and everything behind it is ok, but the bumper needs a respray (to get rid of the spidering) then I personally wouldn't go through insurance. It would probably only cost you an estimated £150-£200 tops for a rear bumper respray which is probably a lot less then your insurance excess anyway (if you have to pay that on a non fault claim?). As long as shes an honest person then I don't see why you don't just get her to pay for the repairs at a bodyshop of your choosing. Removal guide here in case you fancy removing the bumper yourself...
7. I know you're still trying to make up your mind on what car you want, ...believe me I know how hard that can be as I've been doing it all week myself whilst searching for my next car, ...but just wondered if you'd seen this Zed for sale: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104599-370z-gt-edition-for-sale-price-drop/ Definitely worth a look imo. Andy has really looked after his Zed & with his new car getting closer he has dropped the price if you're interested.

my 370z

Very nice looking Zed Scotie. Welcome aboard btw.
9. Moved your thread btw to the 370 section Op. If I was going for a 370Z then I'd really want the Nismo tbh otherwise I'd go for the TTRS from your choices Op. Personally I like the look of the TTRS and as Dan said just a bit of mild tuning will have you sticking with & beating some GTR's.
10. Chris depends how hard this woman hit you & what height her vehicle was. You may get lucky if it was a slow speed impact and her vehicle cleared your exhausts & just hit the bumper. This is what's behind the rear bumper... As you can see there is a crash bar behind the rear bumper but not a lot else really. It would have to be a reasonable impact imo before you start creasing the boot panels etc. My worry though would be that if she hit the exhaust system possibly bending it or even moving parts further up the system out of place like even the manifolds (although if that happened the car exhaust would sound louder so you'd probably know if that has happened). Hopefully it's only minor.
11. ^^ What he said. I used to have a 4 branch wheel brace in my Zed, ...again much better than the OEM equipment.
12. Don't forget if you need parts to have a look on here first for good quality used items. Zmanalex, Emperor Tuning etc could help you out, ...heck even I've got some spare parts in the garage from my old DE Zed so you never know you may get everything sorted for a bargain price.
13. That reminds me I've got the standard ones from my 350Z just sitting in my parents garage, ...really should put those for sale on here or eBay. Good heads up.
14. If you need to remove them for tinting the lenses then you're going to have to take off the rear bumper almost entirely to make it easy for you so might as well go the full hog. I've never done it but pretty sure they're screwed in place so it'll be easier with the bumper off. Related thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69253-removing-rear-indicators/ Guide here: http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Rear_Bumper_Removal
15. Gutted for you jonty (also the deer too obviously). As the others have said you really need to get that bumper off & see how much damage has been done. If the deer was as small as you say though then you may get lucky & just need a new bumper with grill. In which case I wouldn't bother going through insurance as you could get both items secondhand for a few hundred tops & a bumper respray would be around £100-£150. Guess claiming on insurance also depends on your excess amount (voluntary & compulsory) ~ if it's almost as much as the repairs then obviously it's a no brainer not to claim imo.
16. Try Zmanalex & Emperor Tuning. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c.../9648-zmanalex/ Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...emperor-tuning/ You never know you might get lucky & they might have good used items for sale. If you want the LED rear lights though & don't mind paying a little bit more for new items then Clark Motorsport are the guys you should try for those. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...ark-motorsport/ Hope that helps James.
17. Yeah that would help. Look forward to seeing what you do.
18. ^^ What mods/upgrades have you got in mind then Dan? My Mrs is the same fyi, ...if I want to do it then it's fine by her. Can't understand these guys who are under the thumb at all.
19. Love it Husky. Might be worth having a word with andybp on here about the CNC if you get stuck. I know he's built his own & definitely has some skills. Thread here that may be of interest: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/98360-diy-cnc-machine/
