It's ASM Performance in Buckinghamshire. Honestly there were so many awesome cars there that I just didn't have time to look at or take pictures of them all. When I was looking at the Audi S3's it was one of my criteria for the car that I wanted to have the flat bottom steering wheel. I really like the design of it and I wasn't disappointed when I first drove it with the wheel. I'm definitely enjoying the S3 so far thanks.

Are ok, ..same set up I used to have on my Zed then except mine were on 19" alloys. I loved how the 275 width tyres looked on my Zed. Made it look really wide and fit for purpose.
-
Pmsl. Better hope nothing happens to Brads Zed now though as you've just jinxed him. (not that I really believe that)
-
They are actually 20" Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk I thought maybe it was a bit of an optical illusion with the design of the alloy playing a part as well as the low profile tyres but no wonder they looked huge because they are huge! I bet tyres aren't cheap for those then. What's the specs/width etc then?
-
What size are those alloys? They look flippin' massive! I'm guessing 19's, ...so maybe it's the low profile tyres just making the alloys look huge. Back on topic your nuts look great.

I can see why they might say that as it's very effortless to steer thanks to the power steering. The steering to me isn't what I'd call vague as by definition that would mean that it is imprecise which it's most definitely not. It is definitely strange though at first because it takes so little effort/strength to turn the steering wheel as appose to the Honda and other cars I have driven but I like it as I can still feel the road through the wheel & it feels like a go kart in the corners.
-
^^ That's what I'd do with the wheel if I wasn't happy but if I was then it wouldn't matter what anyone else thinks of it as I'd keep it.

I've lost count of how many of us on here (and other forums tbh) have tuned our motors up to the max, spent thousands on them, only to enjoy it for a short time before selling it on for someone else to enjoy. The Corvette definitely has amazing performance but I've only ever seen them in LHD, ...would you be up for that? I'm sure you'd get used to it but I can imagine it being a PITA at times on UK roads especially when looking for an overtake on single carriageway roads.

Brad's full engine rebuild - Done, in, running MOT passed!
GMballistic replied to -Bradders-'s topic in Member Build Projects
Fingers crossed the run in goes well for you Brad. -
Honestly so far it's awesome. I actually look forward to driving it unlike the Civic were tbh I wasn't really that fussed on just driving it for the sake of it plus the Audi's a great looking car. I'm not going to pretend like some of these people online that I'm a car reviewer or Quentin Wilson in disguise but the Audi really does handle very well. The steering feels effortless & the power delivery from the 2 Ltr engine/turbo charger really packs a nice punch. It's also a very smooth ride and definitely feels more solid than the Honda did. Plus it also feels a lot newer than a 2008 to me and the interior design/layout/features are fantastic imo. This one's a keeper.

I haven't no. It is a used car though so unfortunately there are some marks from the previous owners & 7/8 years of use. Basically one large chip above the windscreen from a stone by the looks of it and several chips on the edge of each door. All dealt with now though. Going to do the air filter tomorrow and some more cleaning. Got my toothbrush, leather wipes & glass cleaner so the interiors gonna have it tomorrow!

Went to an Audi dealership for the first time yesterday, ...all I'll say is it's very posh. I wanted to speak to the service department & parts department about a few things. A lady standing at a welcome desk greeted me when I came in & asked how she could help. I told her I was here to ask the service department a few questions regarding some prices/fixes and that I needed to speak to the parts department about prices for some parts I wanted. She asked for my name and said she'd get someone to ring me, ....perplexed I asked; "Isn't there a service department or parts department here then?" To which she replied: "Yes but they're all upstairs on phones so usually ring customers". I think she could tell though that I thought that was a bit mental tbh as she accommodated me by actually getting me a person I could talk to face to face rather than over a bl**dy phone when we were both in the same chuffing building. Anyway I bought a genuine Audi/VW group air filter, pollen filter and touch up paint set. Just replaced the pollen filter today and a good job too as you can tell from the state of the one from in the car below... New genuine one just before the fitting for comparison below.

Paul T. 2nd Zed Build thread..... Supercharged- Hulk Buster
GMballistic replied to P15UL T's topic in Member Build Projects
Oooohh shiny. At least when the Zeds done that'll keep you busy each weekend polishing them because otherwise they won't stay like that for long. -
If you have no luck with that though the company refurbing your alloys will be more than capable of spraying those centre caps to match the alloys I'm sure.
-
Well you're in the right place if you need any good used parts or new OEM parts or upgrade parts. Plenty of member traders (like zmanalex above) and professional traders (like Mitz@CougarStore above) for everything you'll ever need for your Zed. Welcome aboard C-Fed.

Yep same here. Doesn't work on everything but some things are so cheap with the card it's just ridiculous at times. I bought a Halfords Professional 30 piece screwdriver & bit set a few weeks ago. RRP was £40 I believe and it was on offer already for £19.99, ....used my trade card and it came down to £15. Bargain.

As Mr Smith said "yes it's bo**ocks." If you know you're saving up for a 370 roadster then I'd just try to live with your 350 as is for now, ...I mean you've taken it pretty much as far as you can performance wise without starting to throw silly money at it. Personally I'd just focus more on what you want your next Zed to be and maybe even start planning your mods for that so you either have a good idea & some savings ready for it or even a parts bin full of mods ready to go on the 370 when you get it.

In at the deep end for Kevin then Ewen! Hope all goes well for you Kevin.

Good spot, ...I do like Halfords Professional tools range especially because of their life time guarantee.

Lamborghini Huracan as a taxi...or sort off

Awesome especially the "Batman Uber Taxi". -
Colour does look good. Any engine bay or interior pics?

Welcome back.

Draper aren't necessarily a bad make and the price is good. Personally though I'd go for Halfords Professional as you get a life time guarantee so if it breaks or becomes faulty they will exchange it FOC.

Mortgage help - employer in administration

^^ That's what I'd try BBK. I know you said "it's a friends husband, ...don't want to let them down" etc but imo you need to look after yourself & your fiancee. If you didn't take the job with your friends husband then there is no doubt in my mind that someone else will take it. Plus they'll get over it and should respect your decision if they're any kind of friend.
