^^ Sweet little buggers.

Happens to all of us to some degree. You seem to have a mild case which is slowly developing into a severe case by the sounds of it. You can try a Doctor but usually there is nothing they can prescribe which will help. Either sell the Zed or just accept it & carry on.

I can't say for certain as it was fitted at the same time as I had my car remapped (UpRev) by Horsham. The car also had other mods at the time so although I did make good power I can't necessarily attribute it to one particular upgrade part.
-
Doh! Sorry Stu shouldn't laugh, ...was that Grundys spelling mistake or yours?! Come on own up. Actually just seen your post and it would seem it's Ceejays mistake. (I thought it was double "l" as well though.)

^^ Cheers and I'm guessing they'll be plenty of parts mixed in from different cars/vans across the whole range of Audi/VW/Seat/Skoda vehicles. They're decent pedals so if your Caddy has them kudos.

Very nice.

Not really Stu no, ...I know you can get Forge covers for those two lids & plenty of people change the engine covers for TT ones or you can get carbon fibre ones too. Personally as always I'll be focusing my attention mainly on performance mods rather than bling or showy items with the only exceptions possibly being a change of front grill & some new alloy wheels in the future. For now though I've just been focusing on getting all the service items done and plenty of cleaning. Polished the exhaust up earlier...

That's kind of what I guessed you'd have used it for, ...not going to make a good track day car really are they?!

Pffttt, you call that a burst pipe?! Could of been worse....

New owner, nice to finally be here!

Lovely colour and welcome aboard. -
I really like it in white as it's such a clean crisp light. Not sure I would have liked it lit up red, ...blue wouldn't have been too bad though I'd guess.

Welcome aboard Sam. Best way to add pictures to the forum is by using Photobucket which is free to join & use. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/ For upgrade parts you could keep an eye on the trading area for secondhand parts here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/14-the-trading-post/ ...Or for brand new parts from professional traders then they're all in the professional traders section here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/ For light upgrades I'd say eBay was your best bet as there are thousands of LEDs to choose from on there. From my own experience I'd say stick to canbus error free ones and steer clear of ones coming directly from foreign countries as there are so many UK based companies selling them it's just easier especially if you need to return them if faulty or incorrect. Worth noting that LEDs are polarity sensitive so if you insert an LED bulb into a bulb holder and it doesn't work first time just pull it out & reinsert it the other way as that's most likely your problem. Below is a few of the bulb types for example on a DE Zed (which yours is being an 05'). Boot light, sidelights and side indicators ~ 501 capless bulbs Rear indicators, front indicators ~ T20 capless bulbs Interior Map/reading lights ~ Festoon bulbs 31-32mm approx For the carbon fibre console I have seen some in the past but I believe they're fairly rare to find. I personally would take a look at "hydro dipping" AKA "water transfer printing" as you can do so much with that process and really personalise your Zed. Few professional traders on here that can do it for you too like Eve@AquaGraphix and Ricey@revolveautomotive. Here's an example of hydro dipping from when AquaGraphix did some on my own old Zed: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86048-hydro-dipped-interior-parts-door-pulls-grab-handle/ Hope that helps.

Thought I'd post this interior picture below that I took the other day. For those not aware the flat bottom steering wheel was an optional extra as is the white light lit up dashboard (believe usually it's lit up red). It also has a Pioneer AVH-8700BT double din DVD/CD/Radio which although I was after the Audi Sat Nav system, after I researched what this stereo could do, the price & all its features I was sold on it.

I'm on a PS4 nowadays and I haven't bought any DLC for my games since "COD: Modern Warfare 2" on my old PS3. I do get though how being kicked from games because you don't have the right maps would be a PITA.
-
^^ You know you don't necessarily have to buy the DLC's Husky. I do agree with you it's a f***ing rip off nowadays. I remember the days when you bought a game and that was that, ...if you wanted extra content or better weapons etc to that game then you'd find a cheat code or unlock code but that was about as far as you could go.

Looks like a great day out, ...thanks for sharing the pics. -
Well you say that but at 11 years old if it's not been driven much, be left standing a lot or not serviced correctly it could be in a terrible state. Sometimes a lower mileage car isn't as good as you'd think. Good luck Willsy, hopefully it's a good Zed.

Just awesome, ...fantastic pictures & write up.

Hi Steve, just treat it like any other used car purchase imo. Make sure it goes through all the gears smoothly, try to look out for any clutch slip, make sure it brakes in a straight line with no judder or wheel wobble under braking. Look for rust in all the usual places but on the Zed especially near the rear wheel arch wells/fuel filler flap & around the rear exhaust box flanges. Check the fluids, like oil & coolant are all to correct levels (especially import with the oil level). Check the condition of the tyres and also the make as sometimes a better brand like Michelin, Bridgestone or similar will indicate at least an owner who was willing to spend money on decent equipment/parts for their car. Also worth asking what fuel to use in the Zed, it should be Super Unleaded but if the previous owner has ran it on normal unleaded it could cause problems. See here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56308-what-can-happen-if-you-run-your-zed-on-95-ron/ Even though the car you're looking at is low mileage it should have had some things done to it following the correct service schedule for it's age/mileage. For example: Spark plugs changed at 5 year intervals or 54K miles whichever comes soonest. Link here to service schedule: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ Buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ Top 100 FAQs: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/24796-top-100-faqs-must-read-wip/ Hope that helps & good luck.

Hello Matt, you should be able to spot if your Zed has a plenum spacer or not yes. Here's a picture below of what my DE Zeds plenum looked like after I had the Horsham Developments plenum spacer fitted.... As you can see you can easily spot the spacer (and its orange gasket) sandwiched between the plenum top & bottom halves. Other plenum spacers may look different (be different colours or slightly thicker) but they all do the same job.

FYI Damo that is just his name: "Chris Wiltshire". He's actually based around the Cardiff area in South Wales. Reading all this I think you're coming around to the 370 more & more so you really need to drive one.

Great looking Fto. Plus one and that picture is fantastic, ...excellent scenery & location for a car photo.
-
So do I Vlad, ...that ones for the headlight washers fyi.

Honestly so far it's awesome. I actually look forward to driving it unlike the Civic were tbh I wasn't really that fussed on just driving it for the sake of it plus the Audi's a great looking car. I'm not going to pretend like some of these people online that I'm a car reviewer or Quentin Wilson in disguise but the Audi really does handle very well. The steering feels effortless & the power delivery from the 2 Ltr engine/turbo charger really packs a nice punch. It's also a very smooth ride and definitely feels more solid than the Honda did. Plus it also feels a lot newer than a 2008 to me and the interior design/layout/features are fantastic imo. This one's a keeper. You sound just like Quentin Wilson. Rofl. Cheers Chris, ...now when I read that back to myself I'm doing it in Quentin Wilsons voice in my head. So today I was on a cleaning type frenzy with a few service items done as well all under the blazing sun. Replaced the glovebox bulb as it had blown with an LED one I had laying around and also fitted my new genuine Audi air filter. I must say if you all thought the 350 Zeds dipstick was a bad design then you've never seen where Audi/VW group decided to put their air filter on the TFSI engines. FYI it's inside the engine cover with the Audi rings and "2.0 TURBO S3" written on it... I was going to take pictures but I never realised it would be such a PITA to change plus I was sweating like a pig under the sun. Some pictures below stolen from Google to show you what a nuisance it is to change. Once you've got that cover off, which btw is never as easy as I was lead to believe from a Youtube video, you then have to separate it in order to get at the filter... Oh and the kicker was that when I finally got at my old filter I could tell it was definitely no more than a few months old as it was like brand new. Replaced it anyway as mine was a genuine Audi/VW one & the one in there was a Crossland filter, plus I know it's good to go now for 12 months at least.
