  1. Isn't this a GT4 alloy specific problem? I'm sure I've read somewhere that you should never get the GT4 alloys powder coated as that can lead to the same problem. E.g. Alloys sheering off. Possibly down to the high temperatures involved with the process of powder coating.
  2. Good to see you're still about Mike and progressing well with your Zed. What numbers did you see then at Horsham? Hope you're pleased with it either way.
  3. Sorry Ray I don't give a hoot about football. Think you might be owl by yourself at the final.
  4. One thing that springs to my mind, ...not sure what train company it was but really you need to find out the name of someone important or as high up in the company as you can. No good your letter of complaint just landing on the general mail list as it will most likely not receive the attention it deserves. Maybe even post something on Twitter or Facebook directly to the company involved as some people seem to get great responses by doing it that way. Just an idea.
  5. Wow that sucks. I can't help I'm afraid but hopefully this free bump may bring it to someones attention who can offer advice.
  6. That's a DE RevUp 350 there judging by the engine picture & where you say the redline is.
  7. Welcome aboard Ryan. If I was you I'd get all the fluids changed on the car for peace of mind but also because things like your brake fluid will have absorbed moisture by now as it's a hygroscopic fluid. Service schedule for the 350Z is linked below which will help you to see what things should have been done to your Zed by now depending on the mileage/age of the vehicle. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ As you can see from that link above the brake fluid is recommended to be changed every 2 years or 27K miles, ...whichever comes soonest.
  8. Why was that guys car like that in the first place is what would be on my mind, ...did he just commit a hit & run? Is he a serial drink driver? or possibly something else (medical issue etc)? If your brakes hadn't been so good & your reactions so quick then obviously you'd have been in a crash today because of him. I assume you'd use the footage then wouldn't you? Personally I didn't think your speed looked inappropriate for a national speed limit area & as there was no speedometer in sight I would imagine it would be fairly difficult to pin point your exact speed judging by the video. Plus I cannot see any reason why the Police would need to see any more of the video then what we have just seen from your Youtube account. Your choice though at the end of the day.
  9. So you couldn't find any decent cars to take pictures of then? Great pics Matt. Loving the 240Z and the R34's.
  10. ^^What Ian said. You can see his front left tyre is basically flat and he's still driving on it. Definitely worth reporting him to the Police imo especially as you also have camera evidence of how he almost caused an accident.
  11. What about this: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108432-for-sale-induction-kit/
  12. I quite like it. Definitely unique to any spoiler I've seen on a 350 Zed, ...I'd make sure though that you get the angle correct when fitting if you do go ahead as I think it should sit flat on top.
  13. So supercharged or turbo charged by Christmas then?!
  14. Yeah it looks that way - I have had a quick look online for a breaker - my hunch is that these cars don't become available often! If anyone knows the best way to search for a soft top, I'm all ears - I have signed up with some online breakers in the past looking for some basic items and never heard anything back... Thanks for your help. Chris Chris you've actually been talking with one of the best traders (imo) on here for good used parts, ...zmanalex. Not sure if Alex has a complete roof though but can't hurt to ask. Also there are other traders on here who may be able to help like Emperor Tuning: http://www.350z-uk.c...emperor-tuning/ All can be found in the professional traders & trading area on the forum.
  15. Welcome aboard Chris. Hope you get the roof sorted easily enough.
  16. Good luck Nic and hope you enjoy where it takes you.
  17. You may not get on with Photobucket (I hate the adverts on it) but it is free to use and is definitely the best way to get your pictures up on here. Guide on how to add pictures to the forum here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/
  18. Welcome aboard John. Definitely need to know your rough budget price really before commenting on what Zed to get. Whichever one you end up deciding to go for though buy on condition, service history etc and don't get too hung up on the mileage.
