  1. Sounds like a plan. Hopefully though that's plan B and plan A with the Beemer will come through.
  2. Welcome aboard Josh. Bike rack related thread for you here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88535-bike-rack/ Sea sucker thread here albeit a for sale advert & a 350Z too but it won't be much different used on a 370Z: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/102680-seasucker-talon-bike-rack-amazing-piece-of-kit/
  3. Have to keep Googling all these acronyms that you're posting lately Dan just to see what they mean!

    Seriously?

True. We can blame KyleR & myself in part for that.
  5. Still if worst happens at least your old man has come through with letting you use his Hummer. All you need then is army fatigues and a step ladder to get in & you're sorted.
  6. Aaahh that is gutting Dan. Fingers crossed you get it fixed tomorrow.
  7. As the others have said looks like you've done a very good job with that repair.
  8. Has it been raining? Have you just washed the car? If you run your finger or a rag over the "damp" area is it watery, oily or does it have any noticeable smell?
  9. Take it to Abbey Motorsports or Horsham Developments. Nissan pro's. ^^ Both very reputable garages/mappers who are also professional registered traders on here. Horsham Developments: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/141-horsham-developments/ Their website: http://h-dev.co.uk/?v=79cba1185463 Abbey Motorsport: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/101-abbey-motorsport/ Their website: http://www.abbeymotorsport.co.uk/ I've used Horsham Developments in the past myself for a lot of work including mapping, servicing & supercharging my old Zed so can highly recommend them.
  10. ^^ What he said. It won't be seen so just use some type of adhesive to make sure it's held securely in place.

    Seriously?

Just had to Google "Peroni" to see what it was, ...I mean I guessed it was a drink but had just never heard of that. I usually end up drinking Budweiser but bought Becks yesterday for a change. Might have to give Peroni a try if I can find any. Tesco is full of it. It's pretty strong for a commercial lager at 5.5%, but delicious Seems like I've been living in a cave with regards to this Peroni stuff as everyone else knows about it... Cheers Kyle I shall get some from Tescos next week.
  12. +1, ...what happened as that tyre doesn't look in bad shape with regards to tread depth etc. Glad it didn't cause you to crash or anything though. Edit: Just seen your response Tim.
  13. Welcome aboard Rob. As TT350 mentioned you'd really be best off getting the UpRev (remap) done if it hasn't already to take full advantage of the mods the car has had done, ...plus it will massively improve the drive-ability of the car imo.
  14. Think we need a picture of her, ...I'm guessing it may be the way she looks more than the car.
  15. Should be easy enough although you might get a little wet as changing the pump will empty whatever's left in your washer bottle.
  16. Hello Jake, Have removed your mobile number from your post as this is a public forum so your mobile number could end up being viewed by anyone opening it up to abuse. You can send a PM (private message) with your mobile number in it to any of the insurance traders on here should you wish to which will keep it private between you & them. Another alternative for insurance quotes is sites like GoCompare etc but I'm sure you are well aware of those. Good luck.
  17. +1. Still better than a Nissan Leaf.
  18. As you can imagine this question has been answered more than once wilo. Always get my oils from Opie Oils a trader on here & lots of other car forums too: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/108-opie-oils/ You want a fully synthetic oil and personally (in my 03' Zed @85K miles+) I used to use 5W30 (as do most others) although I did change to a 5W40 after I had my Zed supercharged. With yours being even higher mileage if you're unsure the best thing to do is ask the "Oilman" from Opie Oils that I linked above. As for brands then there are loads to choose from with most being fairly similar (just as good as another imo). I've used Motul, Fuchs, Silkolene, Millers and others in the past which are tbh on the expensive side especially compared to own brands from Halfords or something but as I believe oil to be the life blood of any engine I don't mind spending an extra £20-£30 odd once a year for my oil change. Some info here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77-faq-what-engine-oil-should-i-use/
  19. Does look like a good clean & well looked after example. Maybe add some of the pics to the "Memory Lane" thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23174-memory-lane-post-up-your-old-car-pics-here/page__st__380 Oh and if you get a few more quality posts under your belt you can advertise your vehicles for free on here in the "For Sale" section, ...just make sure you read the rules in red & follow them before trying to post any adverts.
  20. I think it's great that your Mrs actually took the time to try & buy you something she thought you'd actually want so just get them fitted. You could then paint the old ones if you fancied it to fit them at a later date or simply sell them on for some beer tokens.
  21. Sorry to hear that some paint came off when doing the rear badge MrLee but in fairness you can't tell in the pictures so you must have hidden it well. Looks very nice.
