  1. If you're going to be after a new exhaust eventually Scylla the best thing you could do is go to a few meets/shows etc to hear other peoples exhausts on their Zeds. That way you can make the best informed decision on what sound/look you're after.
  2. Why not start a "what car next" thread as everyone seems to love telling other people how to spend their money. Just put your budget & some of the essential criteria like performance, drive train, n# doors etc etc I know all the cars available as I have a problem with browsing cars for sale weather I'm looking to buy or not. Will have a look at rs4s again but got a feeling the weight would be to much! I wouldn't get too fixated on the weight side of things imo, ...take a look at it's power to weight ratio, take one for a drive and make up your own mind. Plus your not going to be on track all the time so for its main purpose of getting you & the family around it'll be more than adequate imo. Good luck with your decision.
  3. Try Tegiwa to see if they can help would be my first call. Link: http://www.tegiwaimports.com/

  5. No problem Alex. Was very satisfied with every part I ever bought from you & the service you provided so happy to recommend you at every opportunity, ...especially if it helps the members out too.
  6. What about an Audi RS4?, ...similar price to what you're asking for your Zed. Plenty of room, V8 engine (no turbo), great performance etc Looked at them and Evo X's before I ended up going for my current car & would had much rather the RS4 over the Evo X any day. Good luck with your decision.
  7. Great news Jonty (well sort of ). Sold - thread locked
  8. Try zmanalex or Emperor Tuning for good used condition parts. zmanalex link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Emperor Tuning link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/232-emperor-tuning/ Good luck.
  9. That'll definitely be a safer place for it but still it could come lose during an accident & start flying around, so I'd still strap it in somehow imo. Reason I say this is because I speak from personal experience of rolling one of my old cars at high speed down hill when I was a lot younger. I had a 1.5kg fire extinguisher which during the crash broke free of it's mountings but luckily it didn't hit me. Also had an MDF stealth parcel shelf with 2 kenwood 7"x10's in it come flying at me, ...again, luckily it didn't hit me.
  10. Looks pretty good, ...one thing though I'd try to get a strap for your fire extinguisher. I'm sure it's held in tightly by the cage yes but if you were to have an accident the last thing you want is to be hit in the head by a flying 500gram-1kg missile. It's up to you obviously but I would just for safety. You can buy them from eBay, Demon Tweeks etc depending on the size of your fire extinguisher but you could also make one yourself cheaply enough from say some tough velcro strapping as you're not needing it to be FIA approved. As long as it goes all the way around the extinguisher & under the cage it would do the job. 11. I'm guessing she thought it looked bigger in the catalogue pictures online?!
  12. ^^ Very nice Rich. Lovely colour.
  13. Can you get any pictures of the issues? Are you sure the De-Cats are on the correct way around? (just a thought) Otherwise I know Chris at Tarmac Sportz gives a great service from my own past experiences with him so tbh I'd try asking him to see what he can do about your problem.
  14. Depending on how bad yours is removing it yourself & painting it with Hammerite paint is by far the cheapest way of getting it ship shape again. Have a look at post number 3 in this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99342-brace/ ...Or you could try as I suggested zmanalex or Emperor Tuning for a good used condition one.
  15. Have you really filled up your free Photobucket account Nige?! Reason I'm a bit shocked is that I have 265 pictures on mine (it is only 17% full) which I thought was a lot.
  16. Very common problem wilo and discussed many, many times on here. Try a google search next time with: "350z UK _ _ _" followed by the question/answer you're searching and you should see related threads from this forum & more pop up. Anyway just going to quote myself from another earlier W-brace thread to give you some answers/ideas.
  17. Not Haynes manual but there is a downloadable manual linked in this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71357-repair-manual-download/ Also complete list of factory service manuals here in PDF format: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/nissan-350z-factory-service-manuals.html Hope that helps but if you still want a Haynes manual then I believe you can get them on Amazon.
  18. Tow hook is going, ideally the black will be going.. ideally the wing would be going.. I actually like the black & think you should be trying to go all black. Oh & if you do get rid of the rear wing here are two ideas for you to mull over, ...personally I prefer the almost spoilerless look of just a lip spoiler.
  19. Re: Oil on the plugs ~ as Lewis said fairly common (I had it). Ended up replacing my cam cover gaskets & also the covers themselves which solved the issue of oil on the plugs. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80780-new-nissan-cam-cover-assembly-vq35de/ Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80779-rocker-cover-gaskets-for-oil-leaks-vq35de/ I've just PM'd someone more knowledgeable than myself Lindsey to see if they can add to this thread for you.
  20. ^^ Looks like what sipar69's Cat Sonny possibly looked like as a kitten. Cute little guy.
  21. ^^ Either way Kev just fyi I think Cro has a DE Zed I'm afraid.
  22. It's not the usual type of upgrade that people are looking for though Alex imo, ...maybe add some more detail as to why it is beneficial for the DE owners to buy & fit. etc. GLWTS.
