What's your local circuit then or somewhere you'd like to try? I've done a few "experience" type days which are always good fun, ...like driving a Formula Ford, Lotus Elise, Ferrari etc. Most circuits do those. Or did you actually want a "track day" with an open pit lane but using one of the available cars at the circuit instead of your Zed?. If I'm understanding your problem correctly then it sounds like the back box would need opening up in order to re-weld or replace the baffles. I'd try asking a custom exhaust place such as "Longlife" or similar as they maybe able to repair it for you.

Failing that you could also try asking Adrian@TORQEN (in the "Professional Traders" area). As to how they fit well I'd guess it was a case of 3M double sided tape, maybe a couple of screws, possibly some tiger seal just to be safe. Dead easy to fit items imo providing they are good quality & fit the contour of the rear bumper etc.

If they're not going in then I think sanding the edges of the bungs with some wet & dry paper might be your next step to getting them to fit.

Not good news then.

GLWTS Gareth & as discussed add some more pictures of the TT set up/bottom end etc when you can to help the sale.

Have you cleaned up the insides of the exhaust pipes? If they're all black & coked up still that might be enough to stop the bungs from fitting properly.

I actually prefer your new ginger Zed if I'm honest. You say it came with a few mods; one thing I can see you've missed off the list of mods though is the front & rear brake discs as they're definitely not standard. Look very cool with the grooves & holes/dimples. Enjoy the new Zed Valy.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the colour. When I say "it's not a colour I'd ever choose for a car" that's because the cars I'm buying aren't supercars unfortunately, ...don't think the colour would work too well on your more average performance cars. Suits the Lambo though nicely.

I usually go to a local supplier called Phoenix as they're so cheap for decent stainless steel bolts/nuts/washers etc and as you say you can see exactly what you need so mistakes don't get made. Screwfix do have bolts too btw and I'm sure there'll be a branch local to you. I bought a mixed set from them years ago similar to the one below... Yep but as I mentioned there can be some difference on head size/spanner needed depending on the country of origin for the bolt. Hence why I put up the table picture & the link to another size table.
