  1. Always preferred the BAR in COD... haha. Down to personal choice I guess Yeah I went up the World Trade Centre tower (I think it was the South Tower) back in 1997. I still remember those elevators! Ridiculously fast! Had plenty of hitting power in COD yes so took less ammo to kill but in real life .45 rounds make a mess of flesh plus you have 100 rounds not 20. Big thumbs up for slaughtering capabilities. You're forgetting though Gareth that more than likely the majority of the people that "Bonnie & Clyde" were shooting at were either in cars, hiding behind cars or hiding behind furniture/walls etc. Thus they needed a hard hitting round which could penetrate objects finding it's target on the other side. The .30-06 Springfield bullet fired from the BAR would have been travelling at around 2500 ft/s (approx) in comparison to the .45ACP from a Thompson at a much lesser 900 ft/s (approx) ~ both bullets weighing in at similar weights too depending on the exact bullet so in reality the kinetic energy expelled by the BAR bullet as well as it's penetrating powers would be significantly higher than the Thompson bullet. Oh and if you're wondering that's why my username is GMballistic, ...it's my initials followed by "ballistic" because I'm very interested in ballistics & have been since I first started shooting as a young child.
  2. £5500 for a V8 conversion?? Sounds like a bargain! What V8 is it? A 1980s Rover jobby?! Sounds about right.
  3. Great video Lewis although I didn't really like the music but then I am getting older now (below 40 but above 30). Some awesome cars there.
  4. I think they did Randy, ...it was just the other way around to your picture ~ white tops with blue trousers.
  5. ^^ Too slow Andy ~ must have beat you to the punch by a few seconds. Congrats on the sale btw Matt.
  6. That's lovely Chris, ...just how I'd want my 370Z to look if I'd bought one. GLWTS.
  7. You could always try to repair it yourself as I did with my own.... Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108635-how-to-windscreen-glass-chip-repair/#entry1627742 If you're still not happy with it afterwards, then look at getting it replaced professionally. As Dan said I can't see it negatively affecting the value of the car in the event of a future sale. I'd see it as a positive providing it doesn't leak.
  8. Topics merged as no need for multiple threads asking for the same thing Op. Good luck.
  9. Zmanalex or Emperor Tuning would be my first idea of people to ask. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c.../9648-zmanalex/ Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...emperor-tuning/
  10. Wouldn't be cheap ~ not just the engine you'd need either but gearbox, wiring loom, ECU etc. Think Wasso's LS3 swap is still in progress so you could ask him or better yet Bizz who's car is up & running. 11. The pictures of the giant Redwood trees are actually my favourites of the ones above just because I'm in awe of the sheer size of them. It's actually quite sad when you think about how long those trees had existed before those men came along and chopped them down with some of the trees estimated at over a 1000 years old. me next to a standard sized welsh tree I'm sure that's not 100% accurate but I'll take your word for it.
  12. Who? I haven't seen the member trader (peteman35) who used to do this since around 2014 so no chance of getting those I'm afraid. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78643-boot-popperassist-springs-reconditioning/ Very simple to do, I'll let the pictures & the guide below show you how.... Penny trick guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/35706-the-penny-trick/ One thing though ~ Do not use pennies as they can rip through the rubber boots ~ the better option is nylon washers or plastic tap washers. Does the same job. Yes. Try the penny trick and also removing the boot weight can greatly help. Boot weight removal guide for the 370Z here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/65248-how-to-weight-reduction-fix-boot-pop-up/
  13. Hello Peter, Not sure on a refurbished engine although someone posted this earlier about a company who may be able to help but I cannot recommend them as I personally know nothing about them: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110010-nissan-350z-v8-conversion/ Traders though who may be able to help you get a good used condition running engine are zmanalex, Emperor Tuning & Clark Motorsport although there maybe other traders on here who can help that I'm not aware of. Links below. zmanalex: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Emperor Tuning: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/232-emperor-tuning/ Clark Motorsport: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/207-clark-motorsport/ Good luck & hope that helps.

  15. Some great cars there. Second picture though does make me wonder if you're secretly Arthur Daley reincarnated.
  16. Love those alloys Steve & great looking Zed overall.
  17. Great work Andy, ...looks like a very tidy install and love those black braided lines.
  18. Definitely one of the hardest cars I've had to let go of when mine went, ...at least you know yours is going to a forum member. Hopefully they'll enjoy it.
  19. Jam1 please confirm again when sale definitely finalised as I think Olly is unsure if he actually wants them as he may already have them...
