  1. Not having a go at you but just wondering why you hadn't started the car in pretty much the best part of a year?! Best thing would be to get the old fuel out if you can or brim it to the top with fresh Shell Vpower SU fuel and try to start again.
  2. This is what I imagine Stuggerz is looking at trying to remove... Is that right?? I can't see a nut removal tool working Floydbax if that's the case. ...Or have you got more to work with Stuggarz?
  3. Two options I can think of: It will have to be drilled out, ...a PITA tbh and if you're not careful doing it then you will damage your alloy wheel as well as your hub. Other option I can think of is to drill a small hole into the snapped bolt, ...then you will need to either tap the hole to fit a smaller size bolt or use an epoxy to fix a smaller size bolt into the hole which once set you use to unscrew the sheered locking nut.
  4. Looks miles better already Cro.
  5. Thread moved. I'd echo what the above have said as it sounds like clutch slip to me. When you did that above though if the clutch is damaged or badly worn and slipping it should have not stalled & continued to rev which is puzzling. Could maybe be the first signs though that it is on its way out. I'd definitely start pricing up a clutch kit with flywheel & some new clutch fluid as well. Try Clark Motorsports & some of the other traders on here for the best prices.
  6. Welcome aboard Adam. Zeds for sale on the forum here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/
  7. fat chance its the same as yours - big plastic bag over it all Oh well, at least all we need is some Mr Sheen with it's "anti static guard" to clean the engine I guess. Note to ilogikal1 ~ I would never use "Mr Sheen" on my engine obviously ~ it was a joke.
  8. Awesome Zed and I understand what a tough decision it must have been. Hope your new ride when you get it floats your boat just as much as the Zed did.
  9. When you get a chance Andy can you take an engine bay picture please?, ...I'm hoping it's not covered in plastic like a lot of modern cars and we can at least see some of that beautiful supercharged V6.
  10. You really need to start a "build thread" Brimstoneboy if you haven't already. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/156-member-build-projects/ Coming along nicely & love the latest mods.
  11. Sorry to see that J. That's pretty bad tbh and it couldn't be in a worse place imo. If it was at the front you could fix it fairly cheaply but the rear quarter is a PITA. If you contact your insurer you will no doubt pay more money in the long run then either just paying for the repair yourself or selling the car on at a loss. I mean you'll have to pay your voluntary excess as well as any mandatory excess the insurers charge. Plus even though it'll be a non fault claim it will still effect your insurance premiums in most cases. Personally I'd just do as KUGT4 mentions above, ...shop around for the cheapest quote. Good luck.
  12. He is probably too busy poncing about it in to even care about us . . . just like I would be if ti were me Bet he's out pulling 20 year old women the lucky bugger.
  13. Just fyi he's relisted it again on eBay, this time at £6500 and he does mention that it was made a Cat D in 2008. Free bump for your R33 sale.
  14. It's definitely safest to do that. Oh and if you do or ever want to edit your thread titles just click on "edit" followed by clicking "use full editor", ...that'll let you redo the title to get rid of any spelling mistakes etc if you want to.
  15. You're not the only one. I can't believe he hasn't spilled the beans yet though.
  16. Always best to have matching tread patterns on the same axles and front to rear, ...can cause bad handling otherwise & in extreme cases actually be dangerous.
  17. Replacement for his Zed I believe.
  18. Come on then Andy are you going to put them out of their misery?
  19. Looks great & nice setting for some pics, ....oh I do like to be beside the seaside.
  20. On your first post click "edit", ...then click "use full editor", ...you will then be able to edit your title.
  21. That's got to be "Chinglish" surely. Pmsl.
