Russ from what I just read it will not make any difference to your Zed.
-
Sorry but what do you mean Mike? Are you trying to remove the rear lights, indicators, front headlights etc.
-
Ahhh that makes sense.
-
That looks nasty but glad you got out okay considering what you hit. Not sure how the insurance company could decide it was your fault? What's the speed limit on the stretch of road?
-
Still going to be epic though but you already know that. Good luck Nic & keep us updated with your plans when you can.

Yep all you had to do was write "over 400Bhp, V8 engine" and I was sold on it. I bet that sounds lovely. Enjoy the new motor.

I think the main thing at the moment that I'd like to do is just get bigger arms (forearm, biceps & triceps). Haven't changed my routine in around 12 months now since I moved into a new house with the Mrs. Diet is reasonable considering I'm a fussy eater (mainly eggs, cheese, pasta, potatoes & Haribo) ~ last bit was a joke but I do like sweets & cakes. Don't judge me too hard. This is my exercise routine for a Monday.... **Always start with 5-10 minute warm up** 5 Minute cycle Exercise bike Level 3 (goes up to 8 & I started on level 1 around 10 months ago) - 5 Minute steps V Fit Twister (like a stepper machine) - Sit ups (x25 reps ~ but have since realised the type I'm doing only do the top 2/4 muscles) - Concentration bicep curls Dumbbell 8 reps 3 sets - Military press (overhead) Barbell 8 reps 3 sets - Sit ups (x25) - Forearm roll Dumbbell 8 reps 3 sets - Bicep/forearm curls (in front of body/alternate) Dumbbell 8 reps 3 sets - Hand/forearm grips (using Grip trainers) 25 reps 3 sets - Bicep curls (normal grip/shoulder width apart) Barbell 8 reps 3 sets - Tricep curls (behind/overhead) Dumbbell 8 reps 3 sets **30 Second rest interval maximum between sets** The other two days are different, as in I vary the exercises I do, but follow a similar pattern in regards to rest periods between sets etc.

Very nice, ...I'm not very up on Mercedes Benz or their models so what are the specs etc please?

She's wise to that sort of malarky unfortunately, ...tried; "We need a GTR on finance for our wedding car, just sign here love." but she wasn't having any of it. I'm sure that would be more than appreciated & enjoyed by all.

I did read about that but tbh decided against it as it sounded like just more of the same albeit in a slightly different location. New weapons though would have interested me. I'm still playing "Just Cause 3" when I get time or the whim takes me. Not bored of that yet although much like Fallout 4 it can get very repetitive.

Maybe but I won't cry if mine crashes into a lake or disappears over a mountain on its own never to be seen again. The price of the Phantom 4 I know is good for what you get & what it does but I think I'll save that sort of cash for my car, house or the wedding my Mrs still wants. You'd think though after being engaged for over 2 years she'd realise by now that I have better things to spend my money on.

Please tell me you bought that awesome twin turbo kit off Adrian, ....that would be awesome to see that on your Zed. Good luck with your plans and look forward to reading how it all goes.

^^ That looks very cool and from what I can see the welding looks very good.

Love that Q. Short little videos but flying a drone myself I know how tricky it can be trying to track something on the ground, ....my drone remote doesn't have a live video feed on it either so it's always guess work when I try something like that (hence no videos from me ).

Sort of. Basically I don't really enjoy exercising at all, ...I'm not one of these people who gets a buzz from it (although seeing results gives me a buzz) & I have to constantly push myself into doing it. I was finding that I was getting impatient resting between sets when for example my biceps were tired & I was waiting for my 30 second rest period. So instead of just waiting for 30 seconds I'd switch to a predominantly shoulder exercise or tricep exercise (albeit probably using the bicep a bit) in order to keep doing something and get through my routine quicker. For the last few weeks I've been able to complete all my reps fairly easily although still straining towards the end (last few lifts of a set). I've always progressively overloaded, ...most usually by increasing weight although the other year I did increase the amount of reps/sets I was doing for each exercise but I found that it increased my overall exercise time which as I mentioned above I don't really relish so I went back down to less reps/sets for a shorter higher intensity workout. I'm going to put on an extra Kg on my dumbbells & barbell from next week (always add a Kg at a time) to see if that helps me see some more results as I mentioned I haven't done that for 6-8 weeks now so maybe just plateaued. Do you or anyone else on here use Creatine? I did for a few months solid the other year but then with moving house & other expenses I cut it from my shopping list. Recently bought a tub of USN Creatine though as it was on offer and as I mentioned I'm not really seeing the results I'd hope for with doing an exercise routine so regularly. Don't get me wrong I don't expect to get massive, especially not without massively increasing my protein intake etc but I just want to get more rounder bicep muscles with a good peak. Any suggestions for seeing really good improvements on my arms?

Ouch! How pi**ed would you be?
GMballistic replied to The Bounty Bar Kid's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Definitely plus one & I'd be extremely pi***d off no matter what the car was if it was mine. I had a Boxster S as a courtesy car once, ...true story bro. Post #89: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91628-gmballistics-zed-supercharged-2003-gun-metal-gt-coupe-vids-added/page__st__80 -
I'm just wondering when Nic's going to realise now.

Approved but you might just want to make it clear if those prices include delivery or are for collection only prices. GLWTS.

Quick question for you guys ~ I work out mostly 3 times a week (Mon, Weds, Fri) with each time being a different set of exercises but always the same on that particular day (usually takes me 30-45 minutes total each time). I usually do 8 reps & 3 sets. As example: Concentration bicep curls Dumbbell Weight lifted irrelevant so removed 8 Reps 3 Sets Military press (overhead) Barbell Weight lifted irrelevant so removed 8 Reps 3 Sets Between doing each set I will rest for a maximum of 30 seconds before starting the next set of reps. E.g: Will do 8 reps of military press, rest for 30 seconds, then do another 8 reps of military press, rest for 30 seconds, etc etc until I complete all the reps & sets. Now just recently I have altered this and I'm wondering if I shouldn't as I want to do what's best for seeing results. Example of what I'm doing now: Will do 8 reps of military press, will do 8 reps of concentration bicep curls (right arm), will do 8 reps of concentration bicep curls (left arm), will do 8 reps of military press, etc etc until I complete all the reps & sets for both exercises. Is that wrong? Should I be solely concentrating on completing all the reps/sets for one activity. I understand I need to stretch/tear the muscle slightly if I want it to repair & grow bigger, ...am I doing that?! I haven't increased my weight that I'm lifting for a while now (6-8 weeks) so will be doing that by a KG or so across the board next week. Any tips welcome.

But if that is how Nic spells his middle name then it isn't a mistake, ...even though more commonly it is spelt with just one "r".

Sounds good.

Must resist asking Andy to change your "member title",...

Well when I changed my alloys from 18's to 19's the Zed actually had a dyno'd 294Bhp, ...make of that what you will, but yeah alloy wheel size doesn't make too much difference in a straight line imo when you've over 400Bhp pushing you down the road. Fair points.
-
Everyone has an their own opinion obviously but.... With my old 2003 Nissan 350Z I went from the standard 18" Rays alloys (225/45/18 front & 245/45/18 rear) to 19" Rotas (245/35/19 & 275/35/19) ~ I felt the handling was improved as far as traction "off the line" and stability at higher speeds through corners was concerned. As Dan mentions though I know due to the weight differences of my old alloys/tyres versus my new alloys/tyres realistically the car should be accelerating slower & braking slower but honestly it must have been so minor as I really didn't feel the difference in that respect. Maybe I'd have noticed it being 0.5 seconds slower to 60mph if I'd had it timed on a drag strip or something but in real world driving (A-B, social, domestic & pleasure) it just really didn't make that big a difference at all imo. Forget the "18's for go & 19's for show" rubbish imho and simply put what you like the look of on your own car ~ as long as it's round it will always go.
