  1. I have the original Clint Eastwood Firefox poster somewhere and UK version comic of Star Wars number 1 but its a bit tatty. My Gran ran the local newsagent so used to get ll comics. Even had UK Marvel no1 one and 2000AD 1-10 with the free gifts living under my bed . Came back from school one day and the old man had decide to clean it up and ditched the lot. Hes still going in a home as result longest grudge ever haha !! Kidding
  2. Did mine recently you can get XXXX ZED quite cheaply plus any footy fans lots of xxxx xFC for 250 notes. I did mine on R6 XXX (initial, Birthday and Country Code I was working to earn the cash to pay for it - ) Get at even bigger grin when looking back in the car park ! Not bad for £250
  3. Thanks. this is supposed to be of a 2006 UK zed but the backs different to the Xtrail hence the curiosity.
  4. Gday All Saw this - would it work ? and worth the hassle ? Plug out plug in ? I'm all about easy life. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item23353f0a6f Im a bit Meh, Quite fancy the Pioneer double din app radio as theres currently an ordinary ripspeed thing fitted
  5. LPG converted Zed ??? whats that all about ? any loss of performance I wonder ?
  6. I'm booked into Abbey on the 6th of March for a P1 and Uprev . My Zeds a JDM but the 112 mph restriction has been removed. Currently has Fujitsubo sports exhaust and a Pipercross airfiter - not sure if if that would yield any BHP gain but an improved lower speed response is my main hope.
  7. Can I get in the queue for a discount code for March ?
  8. We went last year. Was very hot. we stayed outside the ring road and got the shuttle bus into the centre. The hop on hop off buses are great and go near most main sites. We did the full circuit then started hopping. ++Top Tip++ Dont queue for tickets to the Colleseum - you can buy online and just head to the front of the queue - just make sure you can print your ticket - email confirmation wont work - as we found out. I found the prices OK not cheap but not as expensive as I thought. Lots of street vendors hassling you so be prepared.
  9. Coughed up 900 notes for a debenture at the Millenium Stadiem so biased!. I might have a spare to the France game up for grabs at face value depending if my brother can make it or not - its a Friday night game so not ideal PM me if interested I and he decides not to go and will put names in a hat etc think its about £70 I'm still overseas so Wales v Scotland will be my only game this 6 Nations and of course Wales to win , traditionally slow starters so not worried after Italy
  10. Heres mine - its my perfect driving song Shock of the Lightning by Oasis
  11. I recently paid a base of about £450 with Flux's then did a few add ons - they came in close to that meerkat mob and were super fast sorting it out - This was with zero no claims discount as been overseas for 3+ years however I am an old fart!
  12. Thanks for this. It is indeed fly eye window tint. Spoke to a mate who said the cloth used is key so will let you know how I go. I conveniently forgot to mention I have a Nismo rear spoiler fitted so will need to replace the rear gas struts but have that in hand Zeditus.............arrggghhhhhhh !
  13. Ok so it's not standard by the sound of things I guess the best way to describe it is as mesh fitted to the glass. Had something similar before with a Citroen the holes in the mesh are smalll so its like cleaning a series of holes. Maybe a micro fibre cloth would work with a glass cleaner as a yellow soft cloth snags on the holes leaving threads - I'm away from UK but will post a pic when I get back
  14. Greetings all Following the philosphy there is no such thing as a stupid question - this may be my chance to disprove it. When you look through the rear windscreen it looks as though its been raining outside, when the exterior is clean and water free - The glass has the mesh effect but I am at a loss on how the hell you clean this. Being from the land of Noob - it this stock or aftermarket ? I suspect theres been condensation at some stage which has left water marks - Any idea on solution on how to clean - Car seems pretty dry now with no damp and seems pretty strong to tear it out just to clean the glass. I am hoping theres some kind of magic brush and cleaning agent you can use so need the combined experience of the forum to advise ! Thanks in advance
  15. Hate it when companies put an admin fee and epecially when its very high like £25 pounds for the famed overdraft letter or ones from those private parking companies where their admin costs rise per letter. Dont start me off on that ! Anyhow gone for the Civic - came out top on What Cars real mpg for 2013 so thats good enough for me - used LingsCars.com - shes off her head ! very novel way of doing a car lease - the website is well worth a look Thanks for the suggestions - I'd love a Merc but the mileage and down payment killed it - also remember the agony of Merc servicing costs when we had a Smartcar. Also its surprising that aircon isnt standard on base entry Audi's
  16. Tough break 18000 miles - just trying to work out. 18000 miles in 4 days is 4500 miles a day 4500 mile a day is 187.5 miles per hour - thats based on continuous use ie no sleep, no fuel stops So being generous - and getting 20mpg at 187.5 mph - this is 818.18 litres works out at £1125.09 in fuel So an extra 0 in play here ?
  17. £420 admin fee ??? err isnt admin part of a service a supplier offers ? I too have tit itch
  18. Slightly off topic. Theres a couple of very good documentaries on how dangerous Motorsport was back in the day. One is all about the birth of the drivers 'union' mainly led by Jackie Stewart and the battle between the drivers for safetry and the FIA and the other is about the unrestricted rally cars of the 80's and has some fantastic footage
  19. Played Skyrim on and off for nearly 2 months - its huuuuuuuge ! Used to play hardcore World of Warcraft. Just Got the new Batman lookis very promising
  20. G'Day all Got a monthly car allowance of about £250 pcm Need something economical and practical as the Zed is for fun! Looking at Honda Civic 1.6 SE (75+ MPG) but would welcome other suggestions
  21. Work for a Shipping Line in Papua New Guinea as the National Logs Manager which in shipping means all things related to Containers. Coming home to UK end of Feb to start a new commerical role with Break Bulk Project Cargo . I wanted a summer only sports car as my welcome home present so did a lot of research with the Zed coming out pound for pound best value but the more i read the more I wanted one and am very happy with the choice. So took the plunge in December when back on break so my Zed is waiting on the drive when I get home and its straight down to Abbey for the Uprev. New role involves a bit of Drivable European travel so intention will be to give her a long run every once in a while.
  22. Superb film Daniel Bruhl is more Lauda than Lauda himself!
