I am so pleased the franchise is putting out decent fims. I like Roger Moore as the Saint but his Bond Films were close on comedy. Timothy Dalton rescued it but IMO Daniel Craig is as good as the early Connery movies

Guys I don't want to be a killjoy but no non zed cars are allowed on the drives. I don't make the rules I just follow them ant this was I have been advised by the team. Please let's kill this now. It's for insurance reasons and I do not want to put anyone in a position where in the event of an incident we had vehicles present which would invalidate the cover. These have been the rules for the last few years so would ask please stop pushing this as regards the drive. Of course there is nothing g stopping people following but now it's been posted on the forum that's enough to have to use this post as a reminder because if we think insurance companies don't read car club forums we are kidding ourselves .

Morning All Have been in touch with Gareth at Demon Tweeks and he would be happy to see us on the Friday Afternoon for all those arriving earlyish. Have suggested we drive up from Chirk the quick hop to Wrexham to arrive about 16:30 which gives us an hour before they close. We would have our own parking area and he has kindly offered a discount to use on the day. Plus, if there was a group buy on any particular products we wanted, they might be able to do a bit of a better price on that as well. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/ Rob

No experience of DFS but the out of town stores all same the same old gear. Along the same lines We ordered 3 piece leather suite years ago from Courts. They delivered right before Christmas after saying it wouldn't be possible ( ordered in September and took a lot of phoe calls) anyhow to cut a long story short when the payments were due to start we noticed no money was going out so we rang them and they said they would send out the forms again (having send in store) - none ever arrived so we called them back and they then disputed we had ever ordered anything - we told them to pop over snd see our new furniture but they just said - sorry no records of delivery to that address so after 2 years of saving the DD debit into a savings account we gave up. No wonder they went bust ! Was a nice holiday too

First time i have seen a black one - they do have a sentimental memory fro me as I was posted to the province and used to drive past the factory regularly - the workers loved it there. I know that they had a few issues but a real iconic car.

Car Gauge Pro works on Android - I used a Bluetooth ELM 327 off ebay cost about £6 plus another £4 for the hardware - Also have a wifi one that I use with Dashboard Pro on iphone for my work Honda . Ideally I would like the dashboard pro working in the Zed as its compatible with my Pioneer App radio A member put up a very good thread in the JDM section on the Car Gauge App - have a trawl- you can also d/l a lite version to see if it works - Which is what I'll try with the subject App
-
Wonder if this will work on JDM's Only found one app that works so far

Some what a pa(ou)ltry problem. I'm going with the neighbour here - get some chicken wire up and tell her to stop feeding the chicken or alternatively if they are layers offer some eggs in exchange for the status quo

Denmark / Norway / Sweden Road Trip - Have you been?
Mudman replied to Stutopia's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Spent a bit of time in Denmark and Norway a few years ago. Alcohol is crazy money and we used to trade a bottle of scotch for beers . Norway is also huge - if you pivoted it through 180 degrees it would reach Portugal. Denmark was fairly ordinary as regards roads - quite flat. This was before the bridge was built between Jutland and Zeeland and they ran ferries. I would concentrate on Norway and see how far North you can get. The Arctic Circle is about 1100 clicks North of Oslo but makes sure there are plenty of fuel stops en route -
About half 6 in the evening - was on my way back to Norfolk after the Wales game - There were only 2 couples in the place so were you sat in the corner on a laptop ?

Kings Lynn Nissan. When my cam sensor failed recently they wanted 95 for the diagnostic and I told them the PIDS Code errors. They suggested that it was probably a stretched timing chain and then quizzed me last time I had it serviced. Forum members made the correct call first time and saved me a packet

Popped my ACL roller blading knee swelled up like a baloon for a few weeks - was in the military at the time but fortunate enough to be done on the NHS - the physiotherapy was very aggressive both pre and post op but knee is in perfect condition and play squash/ski etc. I wear my scars with pride !
