The 18-140mm lens is a good versatile lens for everyday use. However for big landscapes you will need a wide-angle. I use a Sigma 10-20mm on my Nikon D80. Brilliant lens and good value.

I'd be gutted if this happened to me...feel for you mate! Maybe set up a dash cam with wide angle lens to record while you're parked up. Might identify future scumbags!

If its really chronic, you could try a small heater in there on the back shelf. Say a 45w tubular or similar. You'd have to be near a socket outlet though and get the cable through into the car. It sounds a bit OTT but might prevent the inside glass surfaces falling below dewpoint. Never tried it myself.....just thinking about it. OR wedge a flat piece of cardboard against the glass to keep the air off

.......then end up with a duff gearbox. I was looking at Astra VXR's but was put off by their gearbox issues. This is a weak point in their drivetrain .Cant handle the torque apparently. Bearings give up.

Don't talk about the weather, whatever you do. It's a sign that you're trying to make small talk without being personal. Pay attention to your body language Maintain good eye contact Keep your hands under control Talk slowly and laugh at their jokes even if theyre crap That should get you to lunch time! And to sum it all up......BULL8H1T ! Its the bedrock of our society and institutions. Everyone lies, you just have to accept it. "Yes dear, that dress makes you look a lot slimmer" or "Yes sir, your zed will be ready in 1 hour" Manipulating the truth is part of human nature. At every corner we turn in daily life we are fed bullsh1t in one form or another...you just have to recognise it when it floats past. Its more dangerous to assume people know what they are talking about than to assume they dont and let them prove you wrong! If you labour a point long enough, people will believe it.

Bought mine last weekend and drove the 120 mile back home from Chester down through Wales. Found myself overtaking lorries in 6th due to the great torque at hand. Nice effortless cruise!

+1 Yes, my daughter has a Lumix FZ45 superzoom bridge camera and she uses it every day. Fantastic little camera. Brilliant Leica lens and awesome zoom capability as said. Much more versatile than my Nikon D80 which often get left in its case

Skint after my recent zed purchase, I've discovered a P3 service is looming fast including a diff & gearbox oil change. So its time to shake the cobwebs off the old boiler suit and get stuck in. Saves £20/hr labour at my preferred indy and I'd rather do it myself anyway. Had company cars for years so never had to get the spanners out. As I'm a bit rusty, and new to zed servicing is there anything I need to watch out for or any special bits to buy. After draining & refilling coolant are there any airlock issues? Best method to replace brake fluid? Cheers Steve
