  1. Very nice finish.... job well done!! Have a great day at Japfest!
  2. The trade areas are all mostly tarmac but the public parking across the road is just a grass field. Imagine this will get very muddy as people are trying to leave the venue as all the nutters will be trying to do donuts in their micras Nightmare leaving the field as there are usually about 6 streams of cars all converging at the exit gate!
  3. Its obviously safer to pull the fuse or switch the breaker off at the consumer unit, but if you cant for whatever reason, switching off at the cooker unit should be ok. Its a double pole switch so cuts the neutral as well. I'd tape the switch over so it cant be accidentally switched on. ALSO CHECK WITH A MULTIMETER THAT THE CABLE ENDS ARE DEAD BEFORE DISCONNECTING. Edit: Check the Kw rating on your new cooker as well, as some of the new ones are 45A in which case you'd have to replace your wiring, cooker unit switch and fuse/breaker.
  4. If you've not got the confidence to have a go yourself, then yes, any garage workshop should be able to sort it for you
  5. I would usually drill through the centre of the broken bolt with a HSS drill bit. Use a centre punch first to get it spot in the middle Then after drilling hole, insert a screw extractor to remove remains of the bolt. I dont know what access is like to do this in situ though, as I've not had to remove my calipers yet. Someone else may have a better solution!
