You say its working intermittently......have you checked that you are getting a constant supply voltage to the clutch? Whats causing it to drop in and out? Is there an air temp stat interrupting the circuit? I'm guessing really Not worked for at least 10yrs...........you maybe pushing your luck with it then. Maybe you would get a better response if you posted this on the VWAudi forum If all else fails....wait until the winter then sell it!

Welcome to the forum Matt I'd recommend the HR, doesn't use any oil between services and the extra tax is not an issue as you say. Good luck with the search whatever you decide to buy, they're all great cars. A blast through the mersey tunnel is a must do, if you have a decent exhaust fitted!

You'll have to lift the bonnet to check this out. Don't rely on the bonnet bulge as some have already fitted this to earlier models as veilside has already said. You will get some "chatter" with a single mass flywheel fitted but this is normal.

That reminds me, I was around at a friends place the other night and discovered they had a huge solar pv array in the field behind them, and a Leaf was sat there soaking up all that "free" energy...... ....hmmm...I prefer being ripped off with fuel and road tax though!

Bee pollen is a good idea, but DON'T take any now as its too late, and you might have a bad reaction to it. I usually start taking it over the winter months to give my system time to get used to it. A pinch of sea salt on the tongue can sometimes help as its a natural anti-histamine.......and drink plenty of water too.
