  9. Another ''pocket" anecdote for you .... Pulled my wallet from my bag late Fri night after a few ciders, to discover there was only 30 quid in it, and should have been a hundred + Texted mrs to see if I'd left the cash at home......no I hadn't. Not sleeping well thinking where I could have dropped it, woke at 5am Saturday to check and see if any cards had gone missing only to discover a pic of Zedds girlfriend??? It was HIS wallet......so where the hell was my wallet? Check jeans pockets...nothing, searched the zed......nothing! I though $hit, that's my weekend finished before its even started. ...........later.. wallet discovered intact in shorts pocket which I'd driven down in. Senile old bugger!
  10. At least your neighbours will be pleased!
  11. For general pictures of the sky at night a wide-angle is best. I use a 10-20mm Sigma. The faster the lens the better (large aperture) as you can use shorter exposures to prevent star trails. A 50mm f1.8 is fine. Small, lightweight and cheap or just try what you've got already. Expect to stop down a few stops to get acceptable performance Telephotos are great for large nebulae and the Milky Way star clouds.
  12. Welcome along Do you remember SAH Accessories? Only saying this as I used to have a Herald 13/60, and they were the place to go for tuning bits.
  13. We're leaving around 10ish and hope to be there mid afternoon
  14. Once upon a time..... I had an MGB roadster with a full Janspeed exhaust and manifold with a half race cam....sounded great but wouldn't pull you out of bed. Used to love driving it in the winter with the top down dressed in flying jacket, hat and gloves!
  15. I got this a couple of weeks ago too. Great isn't it Still trying to get my head around it Steve, so much stuff to try out.Another bargain .....Photoshop Elements 14 has just dropped from 70 quid down to 39.99!!
  16. Don't know if you've already seen the Google Nik Collection, but its a suite of filter plug-ins available for Lightroom, Photoshop or Aperture. It used to cost around £100 but is now available for FREE download!! I've been playing with it for the last couple of weeks and there is some good stuff in it. https://www.google.com/nikcollection/
