I would have thought its to protect any vulnerable stuff close by such as plastic pipes, cables from excess heat. How about some exhaust wrap if the shields have rotted?

Not sure whether ROI zeds are mapped for low octane fuel but there's no super unleaded only 95ron available there, or at least there was last time I visited.

First Night Blue / Frost Leather I saw. Wanted either Black or Blue with Frost. Very pleased with it, although I think I did a bad job hiding my excitement from the dealer Thanks for the welcomes, hoping to meet up with some of you on the road ATB. I was also originally looking for black, but a night blue one popped up with frost so I went for it. Love it! Looks best when its kept clean, difficult after fitting wider wheels as it tends to throw up the crud more often. Your zed looks in great shape, enjoy!

No issues with my Ark system over speed bumps...and its lowered on Teins.

I bought mine from an owner who only had it about 6 weeks. Had to sell because of redundancy I think. Wouldn't worry too much as circumstances change for people. As PageyUK said, as long as its not in quick succession, shouldn't be a problem.
