Some of you will know that I had gear box probs a couple of weeks after I bought the Zed, fifth and sixth synchros. The supplying dealership, Mole Valley Motor Group (A24 between Dorking and Horsham) sold me the car with a warranty. Took the beast in and they took "ownership" of the problem immediately. Box out, sent to gearbox specialist, fifth and sixth synchros replaced as well as clutch thrust bearing I think. They delivered it back to me today and I've been out for a spin, it's like a new box, 1st to second used to be a bit "notchy" and that's gone too or maybe that's just my imagination? Anyway, in conclusion I have to say they dealt with the problem promptly and efficiently without any fuss or drama whatsoever and I have to say I am very, very happy.

Get the pro's in and go for a long drive in the Zed.

Is kta still doing these does anyone know? I've PM'd him as well.

I've just had 4 splash guards delivered and want to know if I'll get away with spraying them myself or should they go into the local paint/body shop. I've got the plastic primer, correct colour and lacquer sprays. What do you think?

I'm beginning to think you guys are right so that's what I'm going to do, just want subtle and different but I'm thinking subtle doesn't really apply to a 350 zed exhaust mod does it!!?

Took my newly shod Rays and spacers down to the dealership today while it's up on the ramp with the gearbox out and put them on, what an improvement, 25mm rears and 20mm fronts, can't wait to get her back next week. It'll be like getting a second new car in the space of two weeks Looking good Graham, will look even better soon I reckon You must be glad you got the best colour and fastest

Reds or Greens should be fine, I recently went for Reds and also don't brake that hard and they seem fine to me.

Just had bad news and now won't be able to make it unless I turn up in the van!!!!! The Zed is having 5th and 6th synchro sorted out and was hoping to have it back tomorrow, just had a call to say it won't be ready until next week now

Hi guys, Which gearbox oil would you recommend, I'm out of warranty so does it have to be Nissan stuff or is there something better? Will use Molyslip additive whatever else goes in. Cheers Graham
