  3. My car, ran the wiring to the control module by the fuse box in the drivers foot well. Got the colour code and wiring from the 350z manual.
  4. Ditto the Planet Rock thoughts I agree with lincolnbaggie ref the Highway stick on antenna. Next year DAB+ should be launched which hopefully will mean a decent selection of in car DAB at last. We live in hope
  5. These will probably not be up to Husky's standards but I'm pleased with the effect.
  6. I'm soooo predictable!! You probably remember I said I wasn't interested in lowering and skirting the Zed too Well after seeing Shire's and Lincolnbaggie's you can forget that as well Shame you couldn't be there mate, you would have loved it. Great bunch of people too Knew you wouldn't be able to hold off for long! I bet it made the trip to Wales more
  7. Abbey did my 54 GT last week and already I've noticed an increase in fuel economy, probably about 2-4 mpg overall, the throttle response and torque improvement goes with out saying!! Best money I've spent on the Zed so far without question
  8. ha ha ha, love it, what's upside down though? Would that Senior Citizen be Chris then Amended my sig, just for you and hey why do post upside down

  10. That chap in the middle of the road is far too bald to be Chris Oh don't ban me Mr Moderator Sir Would that Senior Citizen be Chris then
  11. "Senior Citizen" makes a dash to jump the queue to use the emergency phone
  12. Chris shows younger folk how to really dance!!!
  13. If you do decide to get one installed check with your insurer which systems they accept. Tracker isn't the only one out there even though it does have the "generic" name. The last time I checked Tracker won't let you transfer from one vehicle to another, other sytems will and therefore is a better option as you pay for deinstall/reinstall rather than complete new system and subscription.
  14. Seemed to handle ok from where I was looking Didn't seem to do so well on Sunday though, must have been out of respect for Mrs Ebized
  15. Steady Will, it's gonna cost you a fortune is this Zed lark!
  16. R16 *** Azure Coupe M40 southbound at High Wycombe 10.00 MNA *** Sunburst Coupe M42 Junc 3 11:20
  17. What a great weekend Next time we will stay on Sunday as it took nearly 5 hours to get home!!! delays on the M40 from junc 9 to 2 so had to go the long way round but at least we kept moving, which is soooo important in a Zed!! Have to say many many many thanks to Colin and Daz for organising and shepherding us around North Wales and thanks to everyone else for making us feel so welcome on our first Zed weekend, Joy was surprised by how much she enjoyed the drive on Sunday but not surprised how much she enjoyed the shopping in Chester on Saturday Looks like it could turn out to be an expensive weekend though, after seeing Neil, James and Chris's cars I think there maybe some additions to mine this winter Again, many thanks to Colin for organising a really great weekend and we're looking forward to catching up with you all again G
  18. That is an outrageous amount of money for a Nissan Tracker System which is presumably based upon one of the proprietary brands? Best thing to do is check with your insurer and a), see if they require a "tracker' and , see how much discount on your premium they will give if you do fit one. If they insist you have one, unlikely unless you have a history of having vehicles stolen or live in a post code with high theft rate, then shop around and get an ABI (Association of British Insurers) approved device fitted by a Thatcham approved installer. You won't pay anywhere near £1100. Most insurers are happy if it has a Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted and it isn't worth more than £45K. Hope that helps
  19. What a complete "girl"..... he had gloves on That is unreal
  20. Welcome, there is something about these cars that induces a sense of excitement and anticipation, and no you're not too old to get excited, I did, I still am and I only bought a 54 350!! If you're anything like me, when you get it home you won't be able to stop looking at it, every time I open the garage door I still can't help smiling, sounds daft but I don't care!!!
  21. Will, love the look of that, hope you enjoy it, see you at the weekend
  22. Had mine done at Abbey yesterday and paid £393.63 INC Vat.
