  1. It does need a code unfortunately, first off, go back to the person you bought it from and see if they have the code, if that fails ask for your money back. It also depends what vehicle it came out of and how old it is, some newer manufacturers head units are "paired" to the vehicle and the only way to un-pair them is to take it in to the stealership, on the other hand it maybe worth looking on line to see if you can find a decoding specialist for the unit you have.
  2. It's a fair cop guvnor!!! Somehow I knew you'd get even somewhere down the line Believe it or not my Zed was the first one I'd ever worked on and I really hadn't noticed it, oh well.... read the f.....g manual!!!! Mark, it was a pleasure, if you need any more help just shout anytime buddy

  5. Until this afternoon I hadn't driven the Zed since returning from the West Mids meet about 10 days ago, so I open the garage door and what happens.................. yep I can't stop smiling, feel like a kid at Chrimbo everytime Had about an hours blast and haven't really stopped smiling since. 6. Hasn't looked bad from where I've been sitting MAD! You are utterly bonkers, you need to buy a set of new tyres NOW, from me. Only jesting mate, 4mm - 5 mm will be fine throughout the winter. I keep looking at your tyres thread thinking that I will need some soon.... I expect someone will be along soon telling me I don't drive the car like I should

  8. They are particularly fussy with anything that mentions N17!!! That's exactly what I have gone for, nothing on the plate except the Reg, and just the plain font too It is definitely getting stricter, I had to take a pic of my license and the V750 and email it to them to prove it was mine
  9. Ok guys, help please. I'm considering various body work mods (don't tell Will tho ) and I think I've finally decided which styles/products I prefer but I need help as to which material they should be or should not be manufactured from. The mods I'm considering are front lip, side skirts, rear bumper and or rear diffuse, rear spoiler and I have no idea which of the above materials are appropriate for which mod. Any help/advice gratefully received unless it's from Spursmaddave!! Thanks for reading.
  10. Good luck with it all, going to be in touch ref. headlight mods.

  18. Ask Abbey I guess, Mark is bound to know From what you've said I suspect the throttle controller can give more "drastic" response, I didn't have too many probs in Wales and it p*ssed down on Sunday Trouble is you're used to the throttle controller now, will the uprev ever be enough for you?
