  1. Thanks Martin, I guess from what spursmaddave has said it'll be the Kent corner of the M25 that will be problematic.
  2. Bloody hell! I'm moving to rural Perthshire, that is stunning mate.
  3. Anyone know what it's like in Newmarket or the roads into it from the sarf? Supposed to be there for 0830 in the morning from Surrey, M25, M11, A11 I guess.

  8. Do you know how long it took me to put that tape on AND get it to stay on in those temperatures........
  9. I went to Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and Kruger National Park last year, loved it to bits, so much so I'm going again in April and will be taking the future Mrs on our Honeymoon. You'll love it, and yes, value for money is outstanding even though the Pound isn't as good now against the Rand. Have a good one
  10. Well, today I was Abbey to have new Hel brake and clutch pipes fitted together with new Exedy clutch and flywheel. It's fair to say that I nearly didn't make it to Abbey due to a severe case of galloping gut rot, but I digress. I have to say the service from Scott and standard of workmanship carried out by Charlie were excellent. The car feels completely different now, mind you it's not surprising after seeing the state of the old clutch plate, down to the rivets and the flywheel scored badly too. The brakes feel sharper now and more responsive. Sarah and her Mum were brilliant too, clearly I was suffering somewhat and "trapped" at Abbey for the duration while the Zed was in bits and didn't dare leave the premises!!! While they were out shopping for lunch they went to the time and trouble to go into one of the Oxtead chemists to by some "radweld" for very sore bums!! Not the usual level of service from any motor related service provider I'm sure you'll agree. Now, I know I spent a pretty penny today (no pun intended) but those little touches make the pain a little easier to bear. So guys, thank you very much from a really happy Zed Hed. Thanks also to Zedmanalex for the prompt delivery of flywheel and clutch too. All in all a very pleasant transaction. So if you need a new clutch and your bum repaired, you know where to go!!

  12. She knew she was wrong mate I used too stamp on the brakes. But not willing to do that in my car now..... It bugs me they wont acknowledge you when you get out of the car.
  13. She probably thought if she got close enough she could make your zorst quieter

  18. That doesn't quite follow if he's prepared to supply only at the same price He would still potentially be subjected to BS as you put it. My day to day employment involves taking apart car interiors of vehicles far more complicated than the Zed and I do have the tools and the ability to complete such a task. For me it would be too much additional time, additional expense and additional travel. Now, if Lee wants to come to Surrey......................... So he can fit it properly without damaging it, and ensure it has been fitted properly so that customers dont come back with BS about it not fitting and/or bits breaking. TBH I would be more than happy to travel oop narf to get Lee to fit it and stay overnight in a B&B or something. If you've every tried to remove the central arm rest bit, it can be a right PITA to do without marking any other interior pieces. Just get all the bits you want done in one go up there and save the headache of multiple visits to a garage
