  1. Way to go Will, that is a top job My paint work should be hard enough soon to give it the wax treatment, in theory the bonnet and roof shouldn't need claying as they've only just been resprayed but I'm sure someone will tell me something different Like you, went out to the gargae this morning and re fitted the strut cover and thought about washing her but I went for a 2 hour driver instead Chilling out now with a nice real ale and all in my world is good
  2. As promised, here are some pix of the strut cover refitted to the car
  3. Thanks mate, I'll keep you posted.
  4. UPDATE. I now have added one penny on each side to the tap washers and it works!!!
  5. Thanks guys, it is fair to point out that I was inspired by spursmaddave's effort but mine probably looks better cos it's silver and blue, but I would say that wouldn't I?
  6. Here you go:- viewtopic.php?f=33&t=22348&p=646597&hilit=likwid#p646597

  8. Thanks mate, my Stayprest got a bit challenging to get into as well
  9. Here's a first pic (iPhone) of my Saturday afternoon modding effort, I'll take some more tomorrow when I put the cover back in the car. It was my first Di Noc effort and I'm pretty pleased Made a bit of a gaff trimming the lower edge but luckily it won't show because the trim will hide it, breathes sigh of relief Just previewed the picture and it's gone portrait instead of landscape although it's the right way round on my desktop, perhaps a clever Mod can sort it for me? ta very much

  13. So what is middle management speak for "access denied"? To be honest its probably done me a favour - I finally bit the bullet and applied for a managers job. If you can't beat em then I suppose you might as well become a soul-less ape who starts using phrases from the Ladybird book of middle management like- - isolated incident (cocked up once) - systemic issue (cocked up all over the place) - can you liaise with (talk to) - we'll park that one (we don't know the answer and we're not likely to in the near future) - lets put that in the fridge (we don't know the answer and we never will - just forget about it) - put a backstop in place (we keep fooking up MAKE IT STOP NOW!) - the deliverable hasn't been implemented (you didn't do what we asked you....ooooooo I'm not happy) - cost benefit analysis proved to be excessive (its too frigging expensive - find something cheaper that won't work as well) - we're putting you an a personal improvement plan - PIP (your 1 fookup away from getting sacked meladdo - pull your socks up!!) - the RAG status is telling us (oooooooo look how much red we've got - we're definitely fooked) - the 'dashboard' is identifying systemic issues (fookedfookedfooked - regulators going to fine us to oblivion) - working lunch (working but with food - your not getting a lunch and no.....I don't give a blue **** if its illegal or not) ad infinitum...........
