Happened to me once on the old Audi A4, hit a bump in the road, not a pothole but I guess that could have the same effect, the tyre guy said if the tyre wall is compressed suddenly then the seal with the rim can break for a nano second and hence the bang Reinflated and never had a problem again so I guess he could've been right.
Maybe PM Mark at Abbey or give Scott a ring, hope you get it sorted soon mate. Were you serious about the Biltong?
No Graham, only just started within the last of weeks.
I am thinking the lamda sensor maybe at fault.....
Good guide Mark, I did mine today, I decided to paint mine Satin Silver and used Plastikote Radiator Paint and Plastikote aluminium primer, seems to have turned out well, I'll post pictures tomorrow when I've taken the masking tape off. Cheers Mark
PM Will350z, he had an issue with his soft top leaking with a warranty and he seemed to know what he was talking about when he said he was within his rights to return the car to the dealer in exchange for his money back if they could/would not repair faulty issues in the warranty. Worth checking the small print of yours as well I guess
Good luck with it buddy
never a truer word spoken in jest, already speaking to TD at Totton about one or two ideas
Maybe while he's away you could redo the gaffer tape for some vinyl aswell
Brilliant!!! Chance would be a fine thing If I even think about the Zed the thought police will be in very close attendance
R & R................. Rolling and Road?? Thats my boy!
Enjoy your honeymoon fella! See you when you get back.
Funny you should mention that Jim We land early the day we come back and then I'm off down to collect Plenum and strut bar and feet Must admit I'm looking forward to some quality r & r together though
....................for at least 23 days!
Took the opportunity to drive over to Essex and back today as I knew this would be the last time for a while Having some improvements carried out while we're on honeymoon and today I removed the plenum and strut bar. While I was at it I took the throttle control body off and I'm a bit concerned about the "sooty' deposit all the way around the "inner" chamber. See the pictures below, I'd be pleased to know if this is normal or should I be concerned/investigating further?
Thanks for taking the time to read this, any advice/help gratefully received
