  1. Brilliant Steve Mine is as bad as yours (54 plate) but I've got a Scangauge fitted which is pretty well spot on but it still annoys the cr*p out of me I've book marked this and I'll be giving this a go when the weather warms up a bit, thanks again
  2. UPDATE. Thanks for the input guys, rang Admiral today and they've honoured the Elephant quote, charged me a small amount extra for the new wheels but I'm really pleased. Going to phone Sky and Flux tomorrow just to make sure, Chris Knott were really helpful but couldn't get near the Elephant quote. And as a point of interest AA Insurance quoted me £349.00 but that was with an £850 excess!!
  3. Sorry guys, assumed you'd seen this (page 3) viewtopic.php?f=60&t=56714&hilit=get+this+wrong&start=30 they'll exist when you put them on your car

  5. I'm currently insured with Admiral and it's renewal time, I understand that Elephant are part of Admiral is this correct? Their quote is considerably less than the Admiral renewal figure anyone had good or bad experiences with Elephant? I'm going to call Sky, Adrian Flux and Chris Knott, are there any other forum friendly insurers who I've missed? Thanks

  16. I've just bought new wheels with polished lips, I'm told they have lacquer on the lips to protect them and I'm a bit concerned regarding the correct protection and cleaning products that I should be using. I already have in the garage the following products which I have used on the old Rays. Megs Hot Wheels, Envy Valeting "pre cleaner", Big White hi temp sealant. Any tips and pointers much appreciated, stuff to definitely avoid would be useful too.
