    New Pics

And that's exactly the point, YOU like it
  2. Stick the photos on Photobucket I don't do FB
  3. Wonder what Keyser and Buster look like grinning from ear to ear?..............................................
  4. You beat me to it Jim Fixed that for you Back in Whitchurch/Kingsclere, we used to get the Chinooks, Typhoons and Lynx's doing their training stuff most days. One of the guys in the office knows a Chinook crew member, so they would buzz our office .... really low
  5. You might also want to check the tyre walls for carbuncles, it's unlikely in such a short time but if you've been down a pot hole since the new wheels went on it can happen and can cause steering wheel wobble from about 60mph up. I speak from experience. (not the Zed) I hasten to add
  6. Oi Oi Your welcome Ian, any time Did not get a good feeling from the truck or salesman, I will keep looking There is no rush especially if Monday is a VERY good day .... we will see
  7. , nice Zed just needs a stubby and some spacers now
  8. Your 350 was orange they are florescent
  9. I did think that too but the OP says in his first post that they are chrome Chrome? Aren't they a polished finish? But damn, some of those gouges
  10. 22nd September works for me, I'll be there Satellite communications specialist if ya don't mind I'm just waiting to get my baby back and know she is running spot on then I'm gonna book something - Saturday 22nd may be a good day for a meet as more people can get the day off??? I may even go up and check it out on the 31st
  11. That sounds like the sort of crap that would happen to me It's nice to know that you are human after all I used to shoot a lot but sold my guns about ten years ago Mind you there has been an air rifle addition lately Not been doing much with the zed recently, I have a broken vectra & a new hobby Well I had a problem with the shed vectra, It was cutting out when idling (when hot) finally got to the bottom of it, a broken clip on a wiring loom on the fuel pressure loom, then decided to get the injectors out for ultrasonic cleaning as it was a little lumpy under acceleration, which meant removing rocker covers, fuel rails & inlet manifold to remove the 6 injectors. & in the heist of it all managed to drop a tiny washer/nut into the combustion chamber so after hours of trying to get the bloody thing out resorted to removing 1 of the heads & damaging one of the head gaskets ********* & the new hobby is almost as fun as driving
  12. +1, let's be honest the Zed BT is pants in comparison to a quality after market head unit with BT built in
  13. Recompense is what you deserve and is also your right, how you go about getting it is another matter, maybe speak to the mob that damaged the wheel in the first place again in a sensible and calm manner? You did the right thing initially by staying calm when it happened. This isn't just a little scratch or two this is wilful neglect caused by an inexperienced fitter and to that end the company are responsible for that and making good the damage,/replacing the wheel/s. The whole situation is further exacerbated by the fact that you say these wheels aren't available any longer, this is not your fault and it should fall at the doorstep of the "fitters", they did not ensure due care and attention were carried out and they now have to face the consequences. Small claims court maybe another alternative but I don't remember what the maximum amount is you can claim. I'm sure someone will tell us soon. Ricey on here is brilliant at writing letters of complaint and fighting his corner maybe PM him too and see if he will advise you. I know you have previously said that the wheels cannot be repaired because they are chrome but I'm sure there must be wheel repairer/chrome plating combination somewhere that can offer a solution and to that end I would contact Lepsons http://www.lepsons.com and seek their advice initially. They did work for me and they really are quite professional, if any one knows I'm sure they will. Hope you get it sorted mate
  14. Seriously, if it's really bugging you you will have to go and test drive one of them, preferably the one that you most like., hopefully this will get it out of your system. I do agree with you though the Zed is a far better looking car IMHO. I can't offer any other comments as i have never owned/driven either but I am sure those who have had them AND zeds will comment accordingly. Good luck with the can of worms you have opened
  15. Nice one Ian Now, that's given me an idea
  16. Any signs of it being reversed into a low wall or similar
  17. Good luck Friday mate The car will be fine My recent back problems mean I'm seeing a consultant tomorrow, it's not going to be pretty
