  4. It's been a frantic weekend for one or two of the team this weekend which involved a lot of time and effort on their part for our benefit, I think it looks the dogs. :yahoo: especially in Azure Well done and thanks guys

  6. I was going to start the same thread Mine was Cars by Gary Numan, im not quite as old as you That was very polite young David
  7. I was replying on Hugh's recent thread regarding the Rolling Stones latest offering and it got me thinking about other people's first music purchase, I'll start, add yours and let's see how diverse we all are Rolling Stones - Little Red Rooster - 1964 - I was 10
  8. In my view...... they should have hung their boots up a while ago...... bit passed it now and it spoils their image... only my opinion. Tend to agree with you and I'm a big fan So am I mate..... and as a musician, I listened to all their stuff learning the drums etc...... but its just getting a bit dated now and hate to say it..... over done and played out. I understand where you are coming from but it's difficult for those of us (well me anyway) that have grown up with them to let it go, the first single, (that'll be 7inch vinyl to you) that I ever bought was Little Red Rooster in 1964, I was 10 and had saved my pocket money for weeks, still got it with the sleeve as well I agree that they may seem dated to you but as musicians they really are the dogs. I last saw them at the O2 in London in 2007 and they were amazing, we sat next to a family with their 15 year old daughter and she couldn't believe how good they were for " a bunch of old farts", this was how she described them before the concert. Rumour has it they will play the O2 again in November this year and I'm torn whether to go or not, I don't want the last time I see them to be a disappointment
  9. Now you have the correct amount of oil what is the oil pressure gauge reading at cold idle, warm idle and 60mph?
  10. Sorry dude, thought it was ok to post in "other cars", as there is alot of really knowledgeable folk on here! It is but I thought something as particular as that to a BMW would have been more likely to have been found on a beemer forum, it turns out I was wrong You, wrong Graham........
  11. It should be more factual than us perhaps giving you information that may not be accurate
  12. Ooops Fair play for taking it on the chin though, as Doogy says PM the zman, not only will he have the parts he will offer you best advice too
  13. In my view...... they should have hung their boots up a while ago...... bit passed it now and it spoils their image... only my opinion. Tend to agree with you and I'm a big fan
  14. Not their best but not bad for a bunch of senior citizens I downloaded it this morning

  16. I do hate to ask this but why would you buy a car with low oil pressure, surely you noticed it when you test drove it?
  17. Wouldn't you have more chance of getting an answer on a beemer forum
  18. Thank you. Yes, close family member, and trying to participate in funeral arrangements by phone is not ideal. I fully take your point about getting deadlines, but this particular garage is pretty high profile and has a pretty outstanding reputation, and I would never have expected them to do anything like this, so I was fairly happy to leave them to it. Thanks for the replies people, I think I'll be going to get the car tomorrow and giving it to someone who actually values the work. DB I think that's the right decision, they've had it for 11 days and haven't even done you the courtesy of letting you know they haven't started it yet. Sounds to me that they have bigger fish to fry I obviously don't know what you're having done but I would seriously consider giving Tom at TGM in Fleet a call. Sorry to hear about your loss too
