That's not actually a bad question. Whilst it should be an obvious 'dur! Of course' the positive terminal clamp is really weird. It won't seem to tighten up properly. It's a normal looking clamp but has a piece of plastic in the middle.......fully tightened it still seems slack.
Sounds like it maybe worth another look then matey
Is there any difference if you dip the clutch? I had a noise similar to this with a dual mass flywheel that was failing, only did it when the car was warm/hot.
