  1. Sounds ok to me Ian, @ Hugh, love that picture
  2. Got this from another site and was more to illustrate what others have said, I guess like all things it's a matter of taste, i have some 6000k 8000k and 10000k samples to fit so time will tell which I prefer.
  3. +13000k = still bright, but very yellow 4300k = brightest, OE HID color, white with a slight hint of yellow 5000k = still bright, white with a hint of blue 6000k = noticeably less bright, fairly blue 8000k+ = don't even think about it - way too dim and way too blue/purple

  14. Well I wasn't going to argue with you and Marky, on top of that you two are very good at remembering who hadn't contributed, I'm sure you would have marched me over to the cash machine if I hadn't have gone when I did Well done you two
  15. Ok, now this is your chance to have a say on what you think we might be able to do to improve next year's event. So if anything about the organisation or format of the event peed you off particularly please let us have your constructive comments so that whoever organises the event next year can take your comments into consideration. One that has already come to light based upon comments from several attendees was the apparent fall in quality of the Sunday Lunch. So let's have your suggestions, maybe you have an idea to improve things that we haven't even thought of?
  16. We don't have the full 'result' yet as The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity have to wait for an 'approved' money counting volunteer to open the sealed box and count the contents. When they have done that they will write to Colin and let us know what the total is. The British Heart Foundation collection raised £249.00 and some change. That is an absolutely splendid effort people so thank you very much to all of you who so generously contributed Will keep you updated as soon as Colin gets the final figure from The Royal Marsden **Figures now in** Money raised for the Royal Marsden by us at Wales was £277.40, plus about £250 here:- http://www.justgiving.com/350zuk Well done to everyone who gave to both of these causes, the best part of £800.00 is an excellent total Thanks again
  17. I hope this turns out to be as good as I want it to be:- http://www.rushmovie.com/ September seems a long way off

  21. It had absolutely nothing to do with "seeing it your way" It had to do with the rules. I don't know who declined it but as has been previously said, rules are rules and they are there for good reasons. You have no idea how many requests we get to sell items and Zeds on this forum by people who don't meet the for sale rules criteria and if we allowed that to happen there wouldn't be any rules would there? I'm surprised by someone who has been involved with running forums for so long that you don't understand that. This forum is free to be a member of and it's free to sell items, all you have to do is meet the criteria, not too unreasonable really.
