  1. If you're getting battery issues, use the swipe up for quick settings and switch off your wifi and BT if you're not using them. Hunting for wifi all day really eats power. In settings switch off Background App Refresh, switch off auto brightness (seems to churn battery) and again use quick settings if you need to adjust - I find the mid point works nicely. Plus the normal stuff, switch off button click noises, set the screen auto off to a short time, disable fetch new data for email (or switch the frequency down to hourly). This may help too:- http://gizmodo.com/how-to-take-care-of-your-smartphone-battery-the-right-w-513217256/1416982678/@ericlimer
  2. Rickdon has paid to test the water trading these, prices and more details to follow.
  3. Well said Rich, Joy and I were discussing the very same thing on Friday, it's a good job the ipcc aren't bookmakers!!!
  4. Sounds like I missed something! Sorry. Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear
  5. Looks like you took the Zed a bit too boldly mate.
  6. That is outrageous. Trip Advisor the life out of them!!! They made a profit from your stay and now want to make a profit sending something back to you which they should be sending FOC or at worst at cost!!! Don't they understand that people have a choice!!!? mrs glrnet's eldest left her electric toothbrush behind in a hotel in Ireland and they sent it back FOC with a nice covering letter. **edit** I've just looked on TA and I'm not surprised really.
  7. Nice one Chubby, glad Abbey got things sorted after what sounds like a complete mare
  8. Trickle chargers are a good idea, have a look here:- http://www.ctekchargers.co.uk/?gclid=COeYuuG27LkCFeXMtAod3wgACA
  9. That's what so good about this place, make sure you stick around Niki
  10. Agree with Ekona, time to stop being nice and get sorted. Let's face it, they've had your car for a number of days and the only way you are able to speak to them is by you ringing them. This is NOT customer service and they are certainly not the actions of an organisation who would be filling me with confidence. If they won't help you now what are they going to do when if you allow them to get into the "repair" scenario, quite frankly you don't even want to go there, if what you say is correct then the car was not fit for purpose. I honestly think they are hoping you are going to quietly go away. Letter to them as Ekona says and go from there.
  11. TGM are outstanding for service work and bodywork, owned by Tom who is an excellent engineer and his brother Willy who runs the bodyshop, have used them twice for bodywork, Willy is a perfectionist, my Zed and my van have both been serviced there and they are great value for money. Give Tom a call and arrange to go and see them, you can kill two birds with one stone.

  13. Got the other blade cut today FOC and they apologised for messing up the other one, fair enough. Put the thing back together and all is good and all in all quite pleased with the quality, here are a couple of pix, you'll see I went for a Smurf effect Nissan badge too For those interested, I didn't need to trim the button assembly as BM did and both buttons work perfectly
  14. That's why we didn't ask you Haydn, we didn't think you would want to be seen with "us lot"
