  1. I know it's nothing to be proud of, but am I the only person on this site who has resisted the temptation to welcome fayelady_z? ....yet. Currently I'm staying strong, but I'm starting to need a bit of help, so I thought I could start this thread as a kind of mutual support for anyone else who is weakening. We could be a very select group - or indeed maybe I'm in a minority of one, as usual. Please don't be afraid to post here if you've resisted the temptation to drool and dribble so far - we all need help sometimes. If I get more than 5 responses I'd consider getting badges made up. BE STRONG, BE PROUD
  2. ^ +2 I'd vote to keep them separate - could get a bit confusing for my tiny little brain otherwise.
  3. Thanks - hope you're right on the emissions thing.
  4. Thanks for the latest video. I'm interested in these, but need to know one thing... Will they cause any emissions issues when it comes to MOT time? I know it's the cats that remove the nasty particles, but does the muffler material in the back box play any part in reducing emissions too? If so, might these pipes cause the car to fail on emissions? ...or even on the sound level? Sorry about the questions, but I'm ignorant on these things and I know there's a lot of knowledge on this forum.
  5. The ad's been around for several years now. Always nice to see though.
  6. 03 plate, import, lowered, black wheels (Rotas?). Very nice condition for an 11 year old car.
  7. 0-60 took me from 1953 to 2013 - that would be an average speed of 0.00000008266631mph*. Some of you may be able to calculate my current age. *that's based on me being in my current 370z, assuming I travelled 230ft, which I think is about the distance it covers when going from 0-60, but in my case, it took me 525,040 hours to get to 60 (just like everyone else). Unless I'm very much mistaken...
  8. I think there's going to be a bit of a run on the sales of 370z's at Aldi over the next few days... CLICK HERE ...shame about the colour
  9. It's been for sale for 2 weeks now. The guy who owns it is really nice - chatted to him on the phone. If you go to their website you can see it was originally wrapped in bright kawasaki-type green. I was interested in it for a few days, but decided I couldn't live with it. It's one of those marmite cars, don't you think? Like the wheels.
  10. I know someone who is going to the West Coast of the USA shortly (Seattle & San Francisco). They have very kindly agreed to allow me a little suitcase-space if I need to buy some USAZ bargains. I'd appreciate any recommendations from the collective wisdom here. Although I have a 370, any general Z stuff would also be considered.
  11. ...and what about INSECT POO? What on earth makes them think it's ok to land on your roof and do a dump ffs? and splat themselves against your windscreen, spreading their poo everywhere. Little naughties.
  12. Sympathies with you Sarah - those people have a similarly ignorant attitude to cyclists too.
  13. Thanks mate - excellent viewing.
  14. This cr@p thread has gone international.
  15. Had mine done today too - at blackboots in Chesham (£114) - they did a very good job and the car feels absolutely planted now, whereas it had a definite skittishness before.
  16. Every day is a school day I thought mighty oaks grew from acorns - just goes to show You're not wrong - but there's absolutely nothing a beautiful, perfect, tiny little acorn loves more than sitting in a big pile of horse sh!t - hence the phrase, "That acorn's full of sh!t." While we're on the subject, do bears actually sh!t in the woods, or not?
  17. I've had enough of this discussion - it's just cr@p.
  18. I like this thread. It's what computers & the internet were made for. ...Isn't it? From a small pile of horse @*!# mighty oaks do grow.
  19. Your the second person to say that to me! Thanks. Don't tell me, the first person then fell unconscious, an ambulance was called, he was rushed to hospital and his stomach was pumped. This undoubtedly saved his life.
  20. Blimey! What are you like when you ARE taking a subject seriously, ffs?
  21. Motul smells good enough to drink - but don't try it.
  22. You seem to be a very sensible fellow Stuarty.
  23. I'll get them re-done for you then. Man ! You're so selfish doing what YOU want to you're car, what the hell were you thinking ! Sorry - promise it won't happen again - I'll make sure I check before doing anything in future.
  24. I'll get them re-done for you then.
