http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/clarkson-falklands-row-mob-attack-terrifying/ar-BB7oOyP The fools deserve all they get. Had they been attacked and injured I'd have had no sympathy at all. Do Clarkson and the 'BBC bosses' think I'm stupid? Do they really expect anyone with an ounce of brain to believe that their unbelievably provocative numberplate H982 FKL was a 'coincidence'? They are snivelling, cowardly, stupid liars - it's clear that they are not fit for their jobs. They will never learn, nor change their spots. Enough is enough.

Definitely go for the 2010 model. The connect premium audio/satnav system is a far better, far more up-to-date package than the '09 iteration. In fact, it's an excellent system.

I don't know about the ones in your pic without looking in my book, but here's a good general tip if you see fungus that looks just like a 'normal' supermarket mushroom... THE YELLOW STAINERIf you 'scratch' the top of the fungus with your fingernail and the skin turns yellow, DON'T EAT IT. IT'S A 'YELLOW STAINER'. It looks just like an edible mushroom, but it will make you ill. If you're still not sure, cut the stem with a knife and look at the cut stem. If the cut part has turned yellow, it's a yellow stainer - poisonous - don't eat it.Please be very careful. If in doubt, leave it. Personally, I'd not eat the ones in your pic. I go out and find mushrooms locally - I've not made a mistake yet, but I'm extremely careful. Some can kill you. Edit - As for your worries about your grandson. Probably best to make sure he doesn't touch them. They won't last long - 2 weeks at most, probably less.

J666 COD - £250 from the DVLA LINK There are plenty of variations on that basic theme LINK That's the best I could come up with. As others have said, don't mess with the spacing - it makes you look daft anyway.

Photo I took of my old black one in St Albans car park a few years ago. The car was fairly stock, but I just like the picture...

You've answered your own question - Yes it's still going, with a bunch of very nice, knowledgeable members (mainly 370 & GT-R owners these days), but you won't hear anything about it here because all mention of it is still banned for some weird reason - like the powers that be are afraid of something? I'd like to know if I'm wrong - or indeed what the reason is. Interestingly, mention of this forum is quite openly allowed 'over there'. Some members here are also active 'over there'. I joined this forum because I've been fairly obsessed with Z cars for over 10 years, since the 350 first came out, and currently own a 370 (until the new Z replacement arrives).

Looks like it could be a very early Japanese import to me. And it's a shame about the steering wheel not being original - I wonder why. I'd be askig a lot of questions about that car.

I think you may be right.

Any one with experience of 'prosumer' DSLR cameras?

Consumitis is a terrible disease, for which there is no known cure. I've had for as long as I can remember and it's getting worse, so I feel your pain. My latest obsession (since the Ace Cafe meet) is to get a 240z - an urge I must fight. By the way - and I should have put this in my earlier post - your photos are excellent. Edit - Is the woman in the photo your wife? If so, she's clearly someone you can do a deal with. It's clear that she likes fine clothing and the decorative stuff that goes with it, so why don't you do a deal to treat each other? Say, somewhere in the region of £1,500 each? If you don't spend it on each other, someone else will get it -
Could it be anything to do with the cyberbashing he took from AmyZed on this forum after the Ace Cafe meet? You know, where he was severely sh@t upon for very little reason*, regarding the way he handed out the trophies he'd brought along? Or is there another reason that I know nothing about? *just my opinion - hope I'm allowed an opinion.

Any one with experience of 'prosumer' DSLR cameras?

I have 3 cameras - a nice Nikon DSLR with good zoom lens, a Panasonic Lumix FZ38 (compact DSLR, I think they're called) and a waterproof Fujifilm XP for when it's raining hard or I go underwater. If I'm totally honest, when I go out I usually opt for the Panasonic. As others have said, it's light, not bulky, takes good photos and has an amazing zoom. But this isn't what you're asking! Spend your money mate - I would. -
The Results of The Scotish Vote for Independence.
chubbster replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I totally agree, just as long as it's not the same automated system that got George Dubbya Bush into power via the pregnant chad debacle. Well done to the inhabitants of Scotland. Although the campaigning got a bit tedious at times (IMNSHO), this was an excellent example of referendum/people power/democracy. -
If you just ignore it - and the stream of letters that keep upping the threat level until they say they're going to take you to court - and then you ignore that one too - they just go away. So ignore it. Don't respond at all. Worked for me. If, in the extremely unlikely event that they do take you to court, they'd never win.

My experiences with my old Ebisu black metallic 350 at St Albans chipsaway were very good - he worked really hard to match the colour - but it's a different franchisee now, so I don't know whether he's as good. My advice is go and talk to the bloke and let him know how fussy you are. If he seems reasonable/professional/understanding/competent, make your decision.
-
They're all small franchises, so they vary in quality. Which one are you interested in?
-
Should I drive the Z from London up to Scotland just for the craich, or is it too environmentally unsound? How long would it take? Bet you thought this was going to be about that referendum thingie.
-
I'm hoping that the Orkneys, Shetlands and Aberdeen decide to separate from Scotland - (aren't these the places where most of the oil comes ashore?) - give Salmond a taste of his own medecine.
-
I think it'll be a bit of a NO. The problem is that, however it goes, it's probably given all sorts of other English counties the idea. Who will be next, Cornwall, Berkshire, Norfolk, Merseyside?
-
Please let me know where you can get a resonated Milltek for less than £900 delivered - I've only seen them at about £1,200. Sounds very interesting if it's true. edit - just realised you're talking about a 350z and I'm thinking of my 370 - duh!
-
There are plenty of Scots who would disagree with you there mate.
-
It's not that, its because of the difficulties of establishing who is Scottish...well not so much difficult but time consuming. There are some 500,000+ living in England alone and probably just as many scattered over the globe, just imagine the paperwork involved with that number. Then there's the children of voting age who have at least one Scottish parent and consider themselves Scottish. Pete ...and as a result, Sir Alex Ferguson DOESN'T get a vote, but Terry Butcher (ex captain of England) DOES get a vote*, just because of where they live. A universal truth is reaffirmed by this - if you want it cocked up, entrust it to a politician. *I don't claim credit for this, saw it on the news tonight.
-
I've decided that the "No's" are definitely going to win, based on my reckoning that quite a few people who are saying "Yes" in public (because it's cool and politically correct) will actually vote "No" in the privacy of the polling booth (because that's what they really believe in). ...Unless I'm very much mistaken... (with thanks to that famous Scot, Murray Walker).

It's called protection money. And if you stop paying it, we can't guarantee your safety. Well last time we had a terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport the guy got leathered by a baggage handler... £3 billion could buy us a lot of baggage handlers lol You're quite right - I'd think several times before arguing with a Glasgow baggage handler. In fact, you won't need a defence budget at all - a set of bagpipes here and there should do the trick.
-
To be honest, the run-up to this vote is about as interesting as four rounds of golf (and it's taking about the same amount of time, too - if you play it like I do).
