Flyboy-Mirror Auto Fold Module - GROUP BUY 2017
Randy_Baton replied to flyboy's topic in Member Traders
Just trying this today and my mirrors don't fold in. The button doesn't work and neither does locking the car. Will go back and look and wiring tomorrow, I was getting too cold by the end! Thankfully all my other electrics still work. I had 2 issues that hopefully someone can clear up: Black wire to black wire splice on small plug, there are 2 black wires on small plug. One goes into the bottom row corner and one goes into the bottom row middle. Based on Cookbots guide I've gone with the one in the bottom corner is this correct? Not sure if I've got to the right wire behind my speaker I've gone for this purple one. Is there anyway to troubleshoot which wire maybe at fault? -

Boot Popper/assist springs Reconditioning

Anyone having problems with this should try the 3 * 1p trick first. Basically open the seal and put 3 pennies in the bottom of the seal and reseal. Did mine at the weekend and the boot now pops up fine first press. It wouldn't pop at all before had 2 double press and also pull up on the boot. -
The UK amazon site runs a black Friday event all week. Its already up new deals every 15 minutes from 9am to 9pm and you can see whats coming up for the next 24 hours, just not the prices. Got plenty of stuff from there over the years. Most things come back around, I guess as people order then pull out, so if you miss something its worse checking back again each day. You can see the prices for things that have already sold out.

It's probably air con condensation, but there is enough of a puddle to start a run off down the hill. The liquid is coming from a whole in the bottom of the engine bay by the passenger foot well. As the hole is there by design I hope it's nothing to worry about! I'll try and post a pic but using my phone so it may take a while!

Literally brought some matts 20 minutes ago, but I'll take the BT adapter if it's the latest upgrade. Needs to work with iPhone 5 / ios7. Think I read somewhere the original adapter doesn't

So ordered my first box. How do you select 2nd class postage? It states postage is £2 when you select which box you want but automatically assigns 1st class @ £2.50? I can't get the discount to work on the Xmas box has anyone else managed to get the code working?

So how do I get in on this?

What the Net in the passenger foot well, seen a few of these on images but not seen them for sale? -
Brighton. I was thinking about finding out about the Zed Shed southern division. I'll be in Birmingham end of next week + the weekend though.

The trouble is I rarely have clue what your guys are talking about . Would any of that be picked up by an MOT? it was last serviced in August this year. It did have an advisory for slight corrosion to front brake pipe, slight play in roll bar and slightly pitted front brakes. Nothing else in the front looks any where near as bad as that, its just the bolts that have gone a bit rusty. There is a rust bubble on the bonnet though.

Passenger side inner wheel trim and screws + front bumper bolts
Randy_Baton posted a topic in Wanted
Hi I'm after a passenger side inner wheel trim and screws I scrapped the underside of my car and the wheel trim came loose and fell back onto the tire so has some melted parts! I've also sheered of some of the bolts on the underside of the front bumper, guessing these are a standrd part so should be easy to order from somewhere??? thanks -
I've been working on the front end of my car and just wondered if this level of rusting was normal on a 2004 plate? First notice an issue when trying to install new side lights as one of the bolts on the underside of the bumper sheared off under not much pressure then this bit fell out of my car. I was then trying to replace my reflectors and another bolt sheared off and noticed how rusty this part was. Its the same on both sides of the car. The area is above the front tyres where the bumper meets the body work. the photos is taken pointing upwards

How do you wrap the finger/change hole on the driver side? I've noticed pictures where it has a lip so you can wrap into the lip but mine is just solid plastic so I can't figure out how to wrap into the hole without it looking horrific. I started a post (http://www.350z-uk.c...e-replacements/) on here to try and drum up options for painting it but it didn't really turn up much. Edit... actually 14N you seem to have done it well. What does it look like from above

But I've got a nicer backside

The reset thing can be quite tricky to time right, the 60 second time limit is bang on 60 seconds. There isn't a tape in the deck is there? Turn car on after doing the hack, let the stereo stop making noises etc. Turn car all the way to position 0 (off) Hold the tape eject button for exactly 60 seconds, id heavily advise using a stopwatch. Let go of the button exactly on 60 seconds and turn car to position 1 (ign) Press"tape" hopefully the display should say Side1 and shouldn't be clicking/making any weird noises.

Did you take off the clip and spring inside the cassette deck? Have you gone through the tape deck reset procedure?

can't get the side repeaters off for love or money.... The lens snapped of one them so I've got that one changed the non traditional route and super glued the lens back on! I'd suggest changing your guide to have the side repeaters on last as its the one most likely to snap the blue plastic lever. All the others were easy to change- except trying to twist out the side bulbs!

Yes they can bite you. No they are not new to the UK they have been here for over 100 years No they are not generally dangerous, unless you have an allergic reaction. Nobody has ever died or had a limb amputated as a result of false widow bite. Put away your red tops. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-24636116 http://metro.co.uk/2013/10/22/eight-reasons-not-to-be-scared-of-the-false-widow-spider-4154821/

Do I have to undo the speaker to find a wire behind it or are all the necessary wires in the coil that runs to the arm rest controls (wrapped in in black tape on the cookbot guide) . -
