I need three small parts. The read plastic thing that goes over the battery connection A working battery cover - I've got one but the clips broken. The rear wiper nut cover.
-
From the engine? or from depressing the clutch? If it's from the engine then that could just be your belts ~ tends to happen more when it's cold weather and is usually nothing to worry about. Hard to tell (I can only hear in mono) but I thought maybe the rear end somewhere

Are there any other signs and will it wear out gradually/should I replace it as soon as I can? I've been hearing a squeaking noise just after the ignition is turned on and again a second after I lift of the throttle only happens when the engine is cold. Is it related?

Hi, went to pull away on an island today but was in third rather than first. There was a car coming so I floored it and didn't change down. When I did change gear the clutch felt a lot lighter (like a normal car!) but it still worked fine. I'd say the first 20% of the depress felt like it wasn't doing anything. A few gear changes later it was back to normal. Anything to worry about, it's the first sign of any clutch issues?

Would there be any need to clear coat these?

Hi, I need the Rear Wiper Arm Nut Cover and also front wipers, specifically I want the base part of the wipers but don't think they come apart, the paints flaked off mine.

How are people hiding the wire? I'd probably just run it up the side of rg door and round the bottom of the window. Would be interested to see it installed.

It's OBD 11 Interface. That means nothing to me! Where would I actual plug it into?
-

Had to disconnect my battery today, now I can't get the tape reset to work. Its exactly the same procedure following a battery reset isn't it? Must have tried 20 times....

Definatly recommend a credit card for doing the side repeaters after fitting most of my kit today. Fairplay they all look really good Finally got round to trying today, so much easier with a credit card!!! I actual used 2 one each side of the lights, thanks

Flyboy-Mirror Auto Fold Module - GROUP BUY 2017

Well it worked for a bit I think it was the earth, correct wire but I'd gone in the light on the snap lock. I was worried I would cut the wire if I pushed the metal bit all the way in. I went round and did all the other snap locks. However its stopped working after 30 minutes, the mirror fold button now works so I can fold the mirrors manually but it works the other way round than it used to (switch to the left unfolds the mirror)! All I was doing in those 30 minutes was trying to reset the tape deck (for the BOSE hack), so i was switching between ignition point one and off and holding down the tape eject on the stereo. Come to think of it I can't remember if I tested it after putting the handle trim back on or not so something may have come undone whilst putting the handle back it (I didn't have to take off the whole door trim today). I did wrap all the wires together with electrical tape and cable ties though so there shouldn't have been much scope for connectors coming apart. -

Re the 12 volt thing do you mean on the dial in the car or by an external volt meter? The volt meter in the car doesn't change it's either at 0 with keys out of the ignition or just bellow 12 with ignition on or around 14 with engine on. Locking/unlocking the doors doesn't fluctuate it. There is high pitch tone that lasts 20 seconds or so when I get out and lock the doors. Don't think it was there before but it's not very loud and I'm normally off down the round whilst locking my car. -
Do you know Ultimate wraps are using your car as their Facebook profile? They must be proud of it. It seems to be about 60% the cost of doing it down south, or did you get mates rates??? I'll be back in B'ham over Christmas so may look into getting it done. Is there a code word I need to use?

Is the front splitter Aerotek/Knight Racer (is there a difference between the 2 and did you mean Aerokit???) and side steps Tarmac? Its pretty much the finish I was going for, I had been advised that the Aerokit sidesteps are cheaper and a better fit than the TM ones but the pictures on the Aerokit website are to small to see any detail! And the TM ones look fine on yours. Did both need painting, I'm okay with fitting but don't know about the painting!

Anyone else use cash back website like quidco and topcashback? They can generally get you 5-10% of things all year round. Biggest savings are normally for services like broadband/insurance. Top tip that I discovered by accident, if you order multiple items and return a few of them you still seem to get cash back on your whole order. I normally order shoes and clothes in a few sizes so I can try stuff on at at home and return the sizes I don't want. Most places do free delivery/returns using things like collect+.

Flyboy-Mirror Auto Fold Module - GROUP BUY 2017

Just trying this today and my mirrors don't fold in. The button doesn't work and neither does locking the car. Will go back and look and wiring tomorrow, I was getting too cold by the end! Thankfully all my other electrics still work. I had 2 issues that hopefully someone can clear up: Black wire to black wire splice on small plug, there are 2 black wires on small plug. One goes into the bottom row corner and one goes into the bottom row middle. Based on Cookbots guide I've gone with the one in the bottom corner is this correct? Not sure if I've got to the right wire behind my speaker I've gone for this purple one. Is there anyway to troubleshoot which wire maybe at fault? -

Boot Popper/assist springs Reconditioning

Anyone having problems with this should try the 3 * 1p trick first. Basically open the seal and put 3 pennies in the bottom of the seal and reseal. Did mine at the weekend and the boot now pops up fine first press. It wouldn't pop at all before had 2 double press and also pull up on the boot. -
The UK amazon site runs a black Friday event all week. Its already up new deals every 15 minutes from 9am to 9pm and you can see whats coming up for the next 24 hours, just not the prices. Got plenty of stuff from there over the years. Most things come back around, I guess as people order then pull out, so if you miss something its worse checking back again each day. You can see the prices for things that have already sold out.

It's probably air con condensation, but there is enough of a puddle to start a run off down the hill. The liquid is coming from a whole in the bottom of the engine bay by the passenger foot well. As the hole is there by design I hope it's nothing to worry about! I'll try and post a pic but using my phone so it may take a while!

Literally brought some matts 20 minutes ago, but I'll take the BT adapter if it's the latest upgrade. Needs to work with iPhone 5 / ios7. Think I read somewhere the original adapter doesn't

So ordered my first box. How do you select 2nd class postage? It states postage is £2 when you select which box you want but automatically assigns 1st class @ £2.50? I can't get the discount to work on the Xmas box has anyone else managed to get the code working?
