  1. I set the prices you all pay for energy bills
  2. What response do you expect with this question? Ricky suggested an ingenious temporary solution. Do you lack common sense? Off course it needs to be done right. It's your car therefore your call and if you need to buy a new or used one so be it. If you want to botch it carry on! Speak to the used parts traders and you will know if they may sell you just what you need or the whole thing. Calm down mate. The question I was getting at is if I can get another nut on it and it does up tight would if make much of a difference? It doesn't seem like it would to me, but I'm not an expert. Its the difference between a 50p fix and probably around £100 as I'd need a garage to do it properly. So if it doesn't make much of a difference using another nut then its it worth doing it right.
  3. Can't I just stick a bigger nut or a few washers on and then use the thread that's left to tighten it?
  4. How much of a job is changing it and do I need a whole new idle wheel?
  5. Is this the normal sound for the Mishimoto fan to make? Sounds like a turbine! http://vid1310.photo...zpsbgu8ppyw.mp4
  6. Finally got round to fixing my fan belt sequel but when doing the Idler wheel up I think the bolt stripped. My torque wrench only goes up to 24Nm, guidelines state idler should be 35Nm. I went up to the limit on my wrench swapped to a non standard wrench applied half a turn and then the nut loosened up and just spins. I can undo it so its the bolt that has been stripped rather than the nut, I just can't get the nut to go on any further. Its pretty much there in terms of how far the nut was on the bolt before. Would this cause any issues/does it need fixing before driving? I thought about putting some sealant around the bolt to stop it undoing through vibration, but leaving it easy to get off further down the line. would this be a good idea?
  7. HOLD ON one of the tensioners is left hand thread !!! might explain why my squeak got worse after I tried to tighten it. I was trying to do it down the back of the fans without removing the undertray so leverage wasn't great.
  8. Try Jack @ Royal steering wheels. Plenty of members have used him www.RoyalSteeringWheels.com Jack's email - jamizerski@yahoo.co.uk Examples here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79573-re-trimmed-wheel/ Even one with a flatend base on page 7.
  9. Its pretty straight forward if you know how to follow a thread And 'do i not like orange'.
  10. I think they are rota GTR-D painted to look like Volk TE37's. They look cool anyway.
  11. Maplins have a whole range cheap of switches. I use my heated seats as a lazy way to warm up on the way to play football.
  12. Where did it come from originaly, was it ebay or one of the forum traders?
  13. Not sure what your referring to, do you mean the wing or the actual wheel arch, that goes in front of the tyre? Wheel arches are normal black. Have a look through here and post the part your after. http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/
  14. Whats wrong with yours, often its just the motors need cleaning. If its just the motors, reconditioned ones go for about £50. You can also try the Mishimoto Fan shroud. New for £180: http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Fans-and-Shroud-Assembly/MMFS-350Z-03 I've got an old OEM shroud in my loft your welcome to it if you want to pay for postage. The motors would need cleaning.
  15. Have a look in the ICE section of this forum, plenty of guides. I just clip an android tablet to the lid of my cubby (see the build thread in my signature). If you go the whole way then it's a standard double din fitting.
  16. Putin could crush the whole of Europe if he wanted, he knows it, we know it. WWIII wouldn't make any short term economic sense for Russia though.
  17. I've just been reading out the order, damn shame. I can never understand people who buy games on day 1, especially after the debacle of this years releases.
  18. Listen to what Attack and GM are saying. A member was recently taken to the cleaners buying an ebay item and this has many red flags. It looks really dodgy.
  19. For the door cards check the member trader 'hide and seat', he did someones recently
  20. Getting the windscreen replaced doesn't add any marks to your insurance record or affect your NCB
  21. I used autoglass and had no problem, it took one phone call. £75 if I remember correctly.
  22. DashCommander has a debug feature, so I was able to send my diagnostics off to the app designers. They said the OBDII reader is toast. They basically said there is a ~20% failure rate on nearly all sub £5 readers they test.
  23. I work for an energy supplier so we get most of the electric vehicles in. They wouldn't let us drive the i8, but I got sit in it . I took the i3 out for a spin and found it a really enjoyable experience (for what it is). Comfy, really quite, and quite rapid acceleration up to ~30mph, obviously floored it as soon as I was out of the car park. If I was looking for something to get around town in I'd consider buying it for the wife (if I had one).
