1. One of my friends dads worked at the Land Rover car factory and was know as a keen gardener. One of his collegues gave him some 'Applemint' seeds to grow. Que a bunch of us going round my friends house after college to find 5, 4 foot weed plants growing in full view in his front garden...

MPS4 or MPSS

Think this was covered in another topic a week ago. I think the general notion was MPSS are being discontinued and non of the other MP tyres are up to scratch.
3. You might as well do the slave whilst your at it, they are about £90. I think Clark Motorsport (trader on here) do a slave set, the set come with an uprated hose + fluid.
4. http://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-ev-oil-crisis/ Plenty of interesting points in this.

6. I've got tinted windows as well... I've had a grands worth of damage done to my car in 3 separate 'incidents' in the last 6 weeks, I've got to something.
7. I'm getting blackvue windscreen mounted camera and was considering the 2 channel version that has rear facing camera as well as a front facing one. Does anyone have any footage taken from a rear facing windscreen mounted camera in a 350z? Just wondering what the cameras visibility is like.
8. Go ghetto and wrap it up in bandages. Or grip tape like on a golf club handle/handle bars/tennis racket
9. I had mine done by Jacks to, pictures and price in the latest post in my build thread http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85093-me-myzed-i/page__st__20#entry1580662
10. Don't use pennies, if your going to go down route use rubber washers. I use pennies for a month or two and it damaged the paint work. Check out his post as well. http://www.350z-uk.c...reconditioning/ and the bottom video in this post http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105615-quick-fix-boot-open-perfect-every-time/
11. For the modern man 30 hours is a great size. I don't have the time or will power for all these massive games! And on a cost basis its fine, where else can you get 1 hour of entertainment for ~£1.
12. New steering wheel from Jack @ royal steering wheels. http://royalsteeringwheels.com/ Wheel 350Z - 4mm Extra padded, Perforated leather on sides, Black alcantara top/bottom, Orange stitchingWheel 350Z - Extra padded, Perforated leather on sides, Black alcantara top/bottom, Orange stitching £130 +£15 for fitting
13. I've just got one from Jack last week, details are in the last post in my build thread. He has 350z steering wheels in stock so can do what ever you want on one of his stock wheels. You can then either drive down and get it swapped at his house for £15 or he does a deposit scheme where you pay more upfront and he posts the finished wheel to you, then he returns a deposit to you once you post your old wheel back to him. You'll probably get my wheel if you do it soon! He has a 2 week turnaround as his reputation means he's busy with the all the work we keep throwing at him . As I left another car pulled in behind me, his neighbours must love him!
14. I was just going to say I just use normal car shampoo and they come up nice and shiny, but then mine are powder coated and black!
15. Hi, In the last two week s I have 2 separate incidents of people driving into my car whilst its parked on the road. Not one note left... The first hit was on the rear quarter, bumper and wheel (bumper was new and resprayed 4 months ago!!!). the damage is just to the paint no bodywork. I've had 3 quotes fro a respray £550, £300 and £120, all from body shops. I know I shouldn't but I'm booked into the cheap one on Monday.... The damage is probably less than an A4 piece of paper and at that price if they mess it up and won't refund/repair its not too much of a hit. The second hit last night was on the same side front bumper, wheel and wheel arch. It looks to have been hit with some force dents paints chips the works. In the last 4 months I've also had someone reverse into me and take a 5p sized chip out of my bumper (24 hours after it was first painted) and a week later a 16 inch scratch appeared against the rear quarter, all whilst its been parked around my area. Kind of starting to **** me off.... So now that is of my chest.... Is there a dashcam with a wide field of view that will switch on and record if it detects the car move when the engines off, preferably low power consumption as I don't drive much, so I don't want to get a flat battery. Its permit parking where I live so I'm rarely parked on my actual road so home CCTV won't do it
16. I'd just take everything off clean, degrease and re-lube any moving parts and check for anything that looks broken. It might just be getting stuck. It could possibly be something to do with the fuses, but I'm not very skilled in electronics. If there is anything wrong with the door handle mechanism I have some fro sale.
17. I did the penny trick and it damaged the paint work under the popers. You'd be better off with rubber washers.
18. The mechanics of the lock are really simple, you don't need to take the door card off to examine the lock http://www.350z-uk.c...rs-door-handle/ The door card comes off in under 5 minutes its really easy, but I'd start with just taking off the arm rest and looking at the switch. The passenger arm rest is held on by the door pull (the vertical brushed aluminium thing) there are two screws at either end of the door pull. Unscrew the two screws pull the door pull towards you to detach it then pry up the arm rest. The door card is just held on with poppers, I start at the bottom and work my way up. Are you stating the passenger can be opened when locked, but only by 10mm?
19. If your having issues opening the boot (common problem) SGS do uprated boot struts (there was a group but on these a year or so ago) and some one on the member traders forum uprates the springs in the boot poper.
20. that picture makes it look like its dripping from somewhere higher. If its happening regularly you could tape up some pieces of paper in line with the water spots and try and trace where its dripping from.
21. Someone else had a similar problem recently and did a large write up on it. It was something to do with the boot seal and parking on a slope. I think the water was pooling in the rear light fixture and then flowing back into the seat pan when parking on a slope. Edit - here's the post http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86683-water-in-my-zed-solved/
22. Well I've won the last 4* lottery draws and I don't even play Wednesdays.... *4 Lucky dips in a row. The odds of winning a million are now better than they were before despite the increase in numbers. The raffle creates more millionaires but the overall amount paid out by the lotto is less.
23. The man talks about practicality and then gets a car with a cream colored interior
24. I've had a pair on sale for the same price for about 18 months... you could have brought my old pair to start with! GLWTS!
