Am I only the only one who thinks the sports car Technics stuff looks horrible, look at the front end of that 911! I much prefer the creator sets.

I’m an absolute novice but it’s fairly easy, if you’ve got the time! I rinse, shampoo and dry. Then maybe once a year clay bar the car (probably more like once every 2 years) Then one layer of glaze – I’ve been using black hole glaze even though my cars silver, but have 50 cal to try next. Then 2 layers of sealant – Dodo Juice Supernatural sealant Then as many layers of wax as I can be bothered with (usually 1-3) – Dodo Juice Supernatural wax I leave 30 minutes between coats (buff off after every coat) I normally just go and have lunch or clean the interior. I usually spend 3-4 hours on it and find this lasts ~6-8 months. Depends on how long the sealant holds up for. All I need to do in between is do a quick rinse/shampoo and dry the car with a quick detailer (Chemical boys Speed wipe). I can do the car in 15 minutes and it brings back the wet look.

My tail of Woe Had a new rear bumper and dent (from someone driving into me) fitted by RT in October last year. The whole car was looking pretty good, job done…. Got home parked up on the street, next day found some had reversed into me and taken a small chip out the bottom of the diffuser!!! Fast forward to January, got to my car to find some had driven into it and left a scrape down the rear quarter and bumper… A week later I was parked next to a lamppost and found a long scratch along the rear quarter next to the lamppost (presume someone had drunkenly swung round the lamppost or something) Two days later got to my car to find some had driven into it and cracked the front bumper and dented the front quarter. I did actually find a note with this one, but they guy answered one phone call with a text and then wouldn’t return my calls 5 days later got to my car to find deep key scratches along the OS rear and front quarters the NS door 2 places on the bonnet the spoiler and the boot!!!!! Safe to say I now have the blackview 650 and power magic pro… No more damage since but I’ve stopped parking on my road and park in a quitter area 5 minutes’ walk away. One issue I’ve found with the rear camera is that at night the small light on the camera lights up the rear brace so when its dark all I see is the reflection of the brace in the rear window.

As it your wing mirrors you could try respraying them yourself with rattle cans. I turned mine black, nowhere near as good as a body shop but they are passable and I think i could get them looking a lot better if I had another go at them. Its the first thing I'd ever sprayed. Or you could just buy carbon clip on covers.

Worst car I've owned...tricky... has to be the 350z (I've only owned one car)

The video isn't what he is seeing, its a combination of of output from the Rift and output from a go pro gaffer taped to the bottom of he Rift. They are merged together in post production.

I’ve been soundproofing my Zed… I test drove the BMW i3 – fantastic car, actually found it really fun to drive around town -
Its going to be completely subjective as I've only ever heard my own but I find the cobra resonated (OEM cats) to give an annoying drone in the cabin when cruising. Accelerating sounds good though.

Fairly sure he could pick you back up again. #GunShow -
Does the hubi smell stick around for longer than the stripper scent? The stripper scent smell only lasts for a drive

I need to top up my oil a little bit, its down to 1/2 full. I'm not sure whats in there at the moment so was planning on getting a garage to do a full oil change at some point in the very near future. Any recommendations on what oil I should use. I know it should be 5w30 fully synthetic but that only narrows down the range! I only drive once or twice a week and do <5k a year and I'm fairly sensible with the accelerator pedal. Preferably something I could get from Halfords at the weekend, so I can top up it up, but could get something from Opie for a full change further down the line. Also how much oil would a full change need?

Flyboy-Mirror Auto Fold Module - GROUP BUY 2017

I had the same issue with the switch being reversed. If you read back through the thread I might have stated which wire was incorrect. I've no electronic experience but figured out which wire was wrong from the schematics so it must be fairly obvious EDIT ... Actually just found my post, apparently I didn't figure it out,I must have just got used to it working the wrong way round -

Good idea, but wouldn't an editable format be better? .doc or something similar? -

More Like Hulk Hogan. Idiocracy (the film) could turn out to be a documentary.

Never happened to me

I've got one, much better than the OEM one, but as others have said it gets very cold in the winter. As for colour matching you might be better getting a gear gaiter to match the OEM trim. I've got one on order from royal steering wheels, it should be with me next week so there will be pictures in my build thread. I'll hopefully have them up over the bank holiday weekend.

You can also get it by entering the VIN number in here: http://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Nissan VIN number is etched into your windscreen or its on a sticker in the drivers door Jam. Saves opening up the engine bay . I've had my car painted twice (Blade Silver KY0) and each time the shop have said the paint code returns two different shades and they've needed to match it to the car. One of the guys even produced two test card with the different colours on, I couldn't tell the difference between the two .

Find him and make him pay out the £9k

Had 5 panels of my car keyed the other night, that's on top of 2 people driving into me whilst parked up overnight. All 3 incidents occurred with 6 weeks of each other. Currently waiting for Blackvue to send me a dashcam. On a side note Blackvues customer service is terrible! -

Plenty of fitness apps will do that. I use runtastic when cycling. Here's an example read out:https://www.runtasti...sions/267567968 If you've got an OBDII reader I think a few off the apps will do the same thing - have a look at: OBD Car Tracker OBDLink
