    Thank you Tigerzed, sorry to hear of your recent loss. It truly sucks!!! Lee they really don't last long enough and it goes in a blink of an eye! 6.5 is really not long enough!! GMB I've cared for 3 family members through terminal cancer and not to disregard my pain when they passed I've been more upset over Nyx

    Thank you to everyone for their kind words. It means a lot. @Daryl - no we won't be getting another dog just yet. We have a lot going on in the next few years but once we're all settled again I'll be getting another Dane. Thanks again guys

    I watched mine too! I've known the mother since she was 18 months and I helped feed and care for the 15 pups she had, including mine. I'm devastated, she's been my baby!

    Thank you everyone! Sorry to hear about that Martin. For all my dog didn't need or use the Marie Curie services it does keep it fresh in my mind as to why I'm doing the jump. As a bitter sweet twist to this week I've been accepted to Northumbria university to start my adult nursing. That means I'm one step closer to becoming a palliative care nurse myself!!

    Thanks guys, she was only 6 but had a massive impact on us. Such a beautiful gentle giant. 6 years old 3 foot tall and 12 stone!! She will be missed

    Just wanted to share my gorgeous girl with everyone. She's been suffering from cancer for the last few months and today we said goodbye. I have to admit she was better looking than a Zed!!!!!
