  10. I was driving north bound on the M6 toll today, got to the booth and was pleasantly surprised when the lady complimented my car, "wow, you don't see many of these around!" For her to say that as she's sat in her booth seeing hundreds of cars a day, they must be getting rare. Good stuff!
  11. Yes, I think I will have to do that too superstu......but what a great sense of achievement afterwards, I was dead chuffed with the fit, perfect, compared to how it was by a "professional" installer.
  12. Stereo's now in properly and securely, you were right about having a long magnet to hand as I dropped the screws a lot! I found getting all the wires to fit behind was a real pain and I think I might have pinched one as now the steering wheel track skip button is struggling to go to the next track. I don't fancy taking it all apart again......but will probably have to........sometime......probably.
  13. Sorry to see this mate, the main thing is you're both ok. You must be absolutely gutted., looking at the damage I would say she's a write off, unfortunately.

  18. Has anyone got a step by step guide with photo's if possible of how to fit a double din head unit please? I have a Pioneer Avh-2600. Will the cage supplied with the unit fit behind the trim? I've had a play and can't work out how to secure it behind the trim? Cheers Justin
