Ok thanks ppl! ... My first attempt to change pads failed. Lol. Anyone know where a gd place I could get it fixed - based in London or even a new bolt from? Cheers !

So today I tried changing my front brake pads and whilst trying to take the front top (driver side) caliper bolt off, the bolt snapped! (image below)... Now I'm left without the top bolt holding the caliper... What can I do about this and is the car still drivable with the top bolt of the caliper missing ? An kind of advice/help much appreciated !

Hi Got my zed recently and wanted to add bits to it. Wondering does a aftermarket cone air filter make any difference ? And does anyone have knowledge on how to remove the stock air filter box to fit the cone filter ? Any advice much appreciated! Thanks

I had same problem and still looked for a jdm scanner that works!

I think it was the second one from the outer corner.. Though I can't remember 100%.. But what I did was pull each one out and visually inspected.. And of course then replaced broken one.

I have pagid brakes up front..noisy like hell..They are budget pads ,so I Beleive you get what you paid for..I will definetelly won't install them anymore. Thanks for info mate. Just wondering is ur zed a fairlady import or the UK spec?

It could be a fuse problem as this happened to me recently too.

Which calipers do you need? I was looking to replace both front ones on my fairlady 350z as I was told that my brake capilers are damaged because the metal clip is hanging out? (Image below)

Yea rx8 was a fun car... Apart from potential flooding issues í ½í¸„ but the rx8 needed a new engine so thought I'll get the zed haha see i couldnt leave her all sad and low on compression i had her rebuilt by a guy in leeds whos turned out to be one of my best mates now haha so il end up with a rx8 as a second car eventually Haha. Lucky for u, he can help u rebuild the engine for free but yea Im gna get rx8 bk one day too... Collection of sexy jap cars
