Iv just fitted a Kinetix that I'm having problems with would I have to rest the ECU and how do you do it?

Think I'm going to have too. . . Should it just work fine being put right on without the tune up? I might use some sealed on it aswell to make sure it's really not drawing air past

Haha I little bit but you get used to it and now I don't even notice it's there. . .

I hit 161mph on my TomTom didn't even bother looking at the speedo I was concentrating too much haha But she was still pulling at that I just bottled it lol

That's where my heads at. . It's getting too much air in but I can't see where or why. . . All the pipe work is back on and right. Just out of interest has anyone fitted one of these? And when you take the standard plenum off there's a gold ish plate that's bolted down with a gasket under it, does this stay on or have to be taken out? I'm thinking that if the little bar in the middle of the kinetix is pushing up on it a little bit I might be drawing air in and not sealing it properly? Just on tick over you can really hear quite a loud induction noise, is this normal too?

So iv just fitted a Kinetix Plenum chamber and the car doesn't seem to want to idle and fluctuates and then dies. . . This is also happening when I put the cluch in, the revs drop and then it dies. . . . Also when traveling at 30mph just trying to hold it it's hunting and isn't smooth. . This also happens at 40. Up higher into the revs it seems fine and revs right through no problem. Don't know if it matters but iv also got a cone filter on the car that iv had on it ages and it's always been fine till I fitted this thing!! Anyone know why it's doing this and knows how I can fix it? Or do I just need to get it tuned/ rev up on it?

I'd love to get it and swap everything over to a UK car put the wheel on the right side :-)

Here you go, It takes some getting used to but I always have them on my cars, looks better (I think it does) and really helps with the sun. . . .

Mine twitches with it on but it sorted it's self out, I find different road conditions makes it kick in slightly sooner or slightly later. . .

Had it about a month back, On a slip road going from a motorway to another motorway. . . I love the corner/curve and when on the bike quite happily go round it well into 3 figures and in my old car FWD even in the damp I could go round it about 90ish. . . Decided as it was a little damp I'd take it a bit easy and came round between 70-80 suddenly the back end decided it didn't want to be at the back any more lol I just wanted to thank the guy who ever set the Traction control up on the Z's haha She really snapped sideways I corrected and then the TC took over and sorted everything out. . It wiggled a few times then straightened :-D Really twitchy moment I then sat at 50 all the way home haha

That's really shocking!!! The lad who did it should never drive a car again!!! They should of given him a brand new 370z or a GTR as a curtisy car till they can sort it all out for him!!!!
