  1. Been hanging around in Swindon all day and the weather is great! My premier inn car park is full of Japanese sports cars haha wonder where they're going. ...
  2. Just used them. . Would recommend...
  3. Wantes to keep out but im running continental sport contact 5 all round and in the wet they are absolutely incredible I cant get th to break traction in 1st or 2nd unless I drop the clutch... you can accelerate very hard in the wet and they are brilliant
  4. As far as i can tell its going to lash it down in the morning and then it should stop by midday.. I dont think we'll see much sun though.
  5. Boo... Im at the F1 that weekend otherwise i would have come. hope you have a blast
  6. Dont know if this has been suggested... before you buy a new window glass try to polish it. there are vids on youtube of people polishing windscreens to remove scratches and stuff so it might work or just reduce it? i think you just need to buy some glass compound and a normal sponge head and rotary polisher might work? hope this helps
  7. thats why everyone is dropping out hahah.... i'm coming from Manchester hoping it will be ok
  8. Yup... my advice. . Clear them off as soon as you can they stick like... They also end up inside, footwels, gaps in doors and bonnet.. everywhere Unlucky ajh... haha
  9. Haha.. no way! My first spot.. yeh, its missing the wheels but I couldn't afford em. Need a porka next
  10. ... and of course everyone else's that I am yet to see!
  11. Cheers guys.. soon I'll be able to hold a candle to Mark and Ian hehe
  12. to be honest no.... here's what i did (I cant take any credit for this as if it wasn't for Mopedmark it wouldn't have got done.. grab a sanding sponge block and some degreaser (Aerosol) like a break or carb cleaner, oh and a beer! take the water pipe (think thats what it is) off the front and push the cables back from the top (As far as you can anyway) until you can just see the front and start scrubbing, spraying and drinking (this can take a very long time but well worth the effort... start at the top (Should all come off pretty easy its not exactly hard graft just time consuming.. mine has oily residue built up in areas and we used a small paint brush and some liquid degreaser then throw some news paper over your belts and over the entire front of your car covering the fans ect, cover everything working your way out from the engine front.. i didn't mask the bonnet under neath but covered everything right back to the wipers (Do this inside or on a still day) tape everything up as best you can and sparingly paint up the front with the aerosol. Its pretty easy to mask to answer your question once you start doing it should dry pretty quick then you can reattach the screws and wires and stuff to the front again job done, shame really it will be covered up by my engine cover once painted but im chuft as hell with how its turned out
  13. Well i spent the day down at MopedMark's... Got myslef a plenum fitted, fitted my intake which he polished for me, removed a bunch of plastics (To be painted) He painted my throttle body and my dipstick. He had me working my ass off cleaning the front of my engine and even his Mrs chipped in and helped tidy my bay up all in all a brilliant day and i feel im making some progress now with her! Again a big thanks to Mark and his other half for all the help OH.. and a new slam panel (custom made by Mark) good job! Job done for now..
  14. Somebody shut my boot hatch be grabbing at my 'z' burger... andyway its hanging off now so how do stick this sucker back on?

  16. Hi everyone. .. well its been 6months and my engine has drank some of my oil (its low on the dip stick) but still safe o hope. ive been doing a hell of a lot of miles so thought it was time for a top up.. got.myself down to asda for a ltr of 5w30 fully synthetic (I chose castrol magnatec) but there are three different ones! C?, C5, and A5 ( or something lile this it had different manufacturers of the back but I couldn't see Nissan. I grabbed the A5 stuff and wantd to check before I.put it in matt
  17. Great stuff! Regarding the filter. . Do you really onlu have to 'nip' this up by hand. Would havr thought it would drop off under vibration?

    Tyre paint pen

When you do it I found it better to remove the wheel and ly it flat... dab the pen to get the unk flowing and then push the fluid into the edges. The raised lip around the lettering helps keep the 'pool' from over flowing. Hope it works out should look awesome
