If somebody can promise me the weather will be better than last year i'll come.. shouldn't be hard since it was raining when i got there on Friday afternoon and it was still raining when i left on Sunday

went last year and it was awesome but i had to take my name off the list because lad i was taking decided to book a holiday... Anyway if i come i'm going on my own but then i suppose i wont have an extra brake pedal in the car!

saw a black 350 on my way home from the coast. i was heading towards Wigan and you were headed towards Southport exchange of flashes and waves.. was great to see another zed on this fine day.

They delaminate, that is the colour tends to strip from the metal... have you ever used a cheap chrome spanner thats started to "peel" its sharp as hell and looks horrid. mine have all rusted too ! Just thought when you see these in good condition it was because they where brand new.

these ones are steel but yeh i hear baaaad things about the alloy ones i wouldn't trust them.

mine are alot worse than that.. its all peeling off haha

haha some great comments here.. the hire car like for like would be great and I agree there is no need to rocket costs for no reason. I would love to jump in a nice car but its doubtful for sure. I cant see costs coming back on me but if im fair at every stage then itt will certainly help.

just an update on this. decided on insurance route, got his details and his insurance is actually a business insurer not a specific car insurers. . so I get referred to an accident management firm and they're dealing with everyone for me they also said I'll get a like for like car hahaa yeh right. cant wait to drive a brand new 370z haha

I asked my claims company to "compensate me for increased premium" and they didn't want to know. I even went to the trouble of recording a conversation (which i made them aware of) they told me "We can confirm your premium will be more for the next few years due to you being higher risk" I went to the claims company and they said. "It doesn't work that way" haha unless its P.I. they dont want to know should have told them my back was in two pieces but im really against that.

hey Ekona.. I appreciate what your saying here.. I have my insurance excess to think about and the fact I'm then making an official claim. I caught they guy and he's admitted fault so no need for me to pick up the tab right? so at the moment I'd rather contact his insurance anf let them deal with it

Hi Folks ! A guy backed into my car at work today. I have witnesses and i know they driver (not personally) but he is a customer of ours. I wasn't in the car and he was spotted reversing into my car by three people including myself. He admitted fault naturally and i have his reg and phone number. Whats the best way to deal with this i have had a none fault accident before but it was a nightmare dealing with it all and naturally the top of my priority list is the work has to be done right! Any help would be much appreciated and here's the pics for you all to wince at. Matt

ahh cool, who was the owner then? I found a video on youtube of my car and contacted the video uploader to see if he knew the owner. thought the previouse owners would like to know how the car was doing. I know it makes Chris sick to his stomach when he sees this zed now especially with the engine mods and now the its got a set of Volks again hehe

Cheers guys! nightmare times, picked the car up on Sat from the body shop and couldn't wait to get the wheels on so i was up at 6 on Sunday struggling hard to remove my spacers. Then i put the wheels on, took a step back and thought it was appropriate for me to go for a drive. she was banging her head off at the back end scraping like mad but turns out it was just a bad shock absorber.. changed it on Tuesday and it runs ok now.. (pending a proper run out on Sunday to see if its still banging)

well, im over the moon as you can imagine. took this when i was leaving the house this morning on my phone.. needs a few coats of wax and then i'll get the dslr out. Again a big thanks to Dave at Deepcar Autobodies for painting the front and rear bumpers. Matt
