OsGiken TS2BD Twin Plate Clutch and Flywheel
Spatt replied to Jetpilot's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
Still for sale? -
thanks for the promising comment.. i think its been like that for a while and though i will get a price i dont expect ill be changing them right away
-
Just an update.. All the plugs have been changed and the missfire has come back after engine gets hot so next step is to get it pluged in and hopefully this should tell me which coil pack i need to replace. Did find oil in the back two plugs so that is a cause for concern also Meanwhile the clutch is still slipping but for now it's driving so I'll have to put that on hold

For sale: Daelim B bone 125 scooter 2012 Got round to taking some more pictures and finally got the advert sorted! Its a 125 "twist and go" moves smoothly up to a top speed of around 55 mph (if your a little lighter than me you might get a pinch more) Though it is pretty nippy for what it is. Its been serviced by the dealer in 2013 and i have replaced the oil / filter since and done the basic maintenance myself though maintenance wise there isn't much else to look at. Its done less than 2000 miles (3171 km) I bought it with the intention of using as a commute to work but the Mrs and I work at the same place so always ended up taking the car (unless the sun was shining and i wanted to treat myself) I use it for sunny weekend ride arounds and a camping trip to the lakes in 2015 its not moved much since so its time to part with it. As you can see its very different / unusual and its gets plenty of looks at you ride around. The scooter has linked disc brakes front and back - brakes operate together for smoother control Upgraded Bridgestone tyres Included is a chain and brand new ground anchor Asking £1250 this video is a great review of the scooter

OsGiken TS2BD Twin Plate Clutch and Flywheel

no but i am after a clutch -- bit overkill for my 2003 DE and not after a flywheel either.. GLWTS - have a free bump on me -
Wasn't me... I drive through Littleborough on a nice loop some night during the week
-
Why is that? Bad service, faulty parts? Just got off the phone with a company in London will ship to my local Argos for free within a few days sounds ideal
-
Cheers for the heads up on that, i could probably do that myself but i'll have a look when we take the clutch out.

I'm going to try and order a new Exedy clutch kit from ebay soon as they're only 250 notes and money is tight right now... I already have a lightweight fly and hopefully this shouldn't need to be replaced. So the clutch is slipping like mad now when cold (Works fine when hot) If i floor it in the any gear i get revs and not much else. I have looked at the adjustment thread for the pedal but i don't think this will work. I'm going to try and attempt this myself with some friends who have done this kind of thing before but never on a 350z. I notice a squeaking from the pedal when on the bite point should i be worried about this / check anything / replace anything while i'm at the job?? Anything i should know about before undertaking the challenge? ta in advance Matt

It was a couple of weeks ago when i was last up there on a little drive
-
possibly me?
-
Mine was going during the peak district. .. just warm it up it was fine but now I can't reverse onto my drive. You should hear it now it's so.loud
-
I could do with finding out about the clutch adjustment as I can't afford a new exedy at the moment. . I launch mine all the time and rev it like a 17 yr old do Yeh it's probably gone. I have just bought some plugs and I'm going to change them on Thursday... yes running with half a tank now but I went for a drive round the peak district on Sunday with a friend and one minute it's missing and then the next they all come back in.. it's quite funny really sometimes feels like I'm running on 2 cylinders them vroom! They all come back and I floor it hehe

Try and operate the window button with the door open and slam the door (Still holding the button) This is what i have to do if i let the window go all the way down on the drivers side. Matt

what an episode, loved it! Chris Harris - amazing. Rory - amazing both very good slots enjoyed it very much.. very much like the YouTube videos they are both very good at doing.. Wasn't a fan of Eddie but i thought he was great on this episode... the train race was great and i was glad to hear Matt say "We where each given the price of a train ticket" made me feel at home and it would have been good to see them all meet up in a car park like they normally do and look at the cars (or bikes) in more detail. We great to see a bike on the show i think thats a step in the right direction.... I',m not a biker myself but i do think there is a place for bikes on the show. Yes the above train race has been done before and its very "Top Gear" - for those who dont want to see that kind of thing... .... Dont watch TopGear find another show hehe (no offence, i think the races are great! ) The overall "Live" feeling in the show is still hard to watch but the guest bits are getting better and the click they all have is improving. So to the "Nay" sayers... stick with it

Do no have to do the whole lot?? Or just the first bit for the ecu?
-
Cheers guys! Only light that's on now is engine management engine running fine!! No missing or stutter.. will pedal dance turn my engine management light off??
-
Hi Mark thanks for the heads up.. do I need to plug the car in before I do the pedal dance?
-
Plugs where changed two and a half years ago at approx 50k I'm now on 85k Clutch went in 6 years ago - just checked this... probably well in need of replacing

I was driving last night with very VERY Low fuel and the car started to missfire. It had missfired earlier in the week (the last time a drove it) again with low fuel level but it sorted itself out and started running normally. The same thing happened last night and it's running normally and then starts to missfire then runs normally again. this time though the engine light is on the VDC light is on and the pass airbag light is on??? If I turn the engine off then back on the VDC and pass airbag light go out but engine light remains. Also clutch is slipping really badly but could this be adjusted? I have an exedy lightened flywheel and clutch which has seen some hammer so probably needs replacing.. clutch pedal is squeking like mad when hot so maybe need to replace something there? - none of this should be relevant to the engine managementlight though right so separate issue? I guess get it to a garage and hook up a code reader is the first step and strong possibility I need to do plugs and oil coil pack?

PEAK DISTRICT 2016 PHOTO AND VIDEO THREAD!
Spatt replied to MrsNiki's topic in National Events & Shows
I need to get my videos up ASAP... our experience of the Cat and Fiddle was rather different. In face I was even getting tyre squeal on some of the bends -
so many are coming around to it now. Its starting to feel a little more 'normal'

Allowed to make an offer tho?..
