Do you know much about these engines? didn't they come from a Cedric or something like that? I'm off to Google for a nose around..... Its out of a Nissan gloria, Julian said with just a set of injectors you're looking at a 400bhp engine. its just sitting there ready to go in. Give him a call and tell julian I told you about it, thats if your interested. If I had the money I would have snapped it up as it would be one of a kind.

mines an import so I would say imports are better. Thats my impartial opinion.

I have just bitten the bullet and gone for an engine rebuild with uprated parts, I dropped it off at garage D yesterday and luckily julian is a god friend and said he'll try and get it done for next week fingers crossed. I was lucky as he has all the parts I want due to him already build another VQ35 up. FYI He has a VQ30DET for sale with everything you need from loom to ECU for £1500!!! fits straight into a 350Z, 3ltr single turbo, I was so tempted but I wanna do a RB25 conversion next year which I'll be doing with Julian!! will be one to watch, not as good as Bizz LS3 but hopefully close ha ha. I'm kinda happy my engine has gone as it means I'll have a fresh one to look after shame I cant reset my mileage clock on the dash.

Just incase you might find this funny I just sent them this email on their new website: "Hi, I called earlier about a car I bought from you 4 and 1/2 months ago, when you traded under the name paul brown cars. I called earlier and I recognised the voice on the phone. Also all the pics you have on ebay have the same background as the ones from your previous website. The address also matches up with where I came and viewed the car. I have read and have been told about what Paul brown cars have done and I am emailing you to put right before any action is taken. I am having to pay for a full engine rebuild and as a dealer you are required to provide a warranty. I am not stupid and I know you are the same people. I do not wish to have to drive to your private warehouse to sort this out. I wish to sort this out calmly. I have the bank account number that I paid the deposit into and that can be traced. Please dont find my politeness as weakness. If you wish to deal with this and talk over a face to face meeting I would me more than happy to come see you, even if that means pretending to view one of your supras but I think we can sort this out without that. Ive taken it to garage D in watford and as soon as julian lifted the bonnet knew what the problem was. I trust him completely with what he's said. We did talk of doing a RB conversion and also he has a VQ30DET there from a gloria. Was a hard hard decision but Im going with a rebuild with up rated parts.

Id be interested to know how much its going to cost, if you dont mind spilling the beans (future planning)..... rebuild or engine swap Yeah I'll let you know how much and what I'm gonna do........possible RB25 or 1JZ maybe, I do love the VQ35

I just called them and when I asked why the background was the same and in the same location they got all funny with me!! its definitely them as I recognised the voice on the phone. The guy on the phone said he had never herd of "paul brown cars"

I put my car in for its service and new fluids this morning and got a call from the garage soon after dropping it off and they told me my little end is going or my big end is going!!! I got the car from paul brown cars only 5 months ago, I have tried calling them but the call wont go through and their website no longer exists!!! Got a feeling this is gonna suck!!!

Sounds like you should take up drifting ha ha I love it when that happens, well I do it on purpose, the only thing I wish I could change is have a cable throttle rather than the electric one but doesn't stop me loving my Zed. Even happier to hear you didn't fudge your car up!

Hello fellow zed heads, I recently got a rear diffuser, the one that sits just over the exhausts.( same as in the picture below) I was gonna attempt to fit it myself as it doesn't seem that hard only problem I have I'm not sure on how to bond/fix it to my bumper. If anyone can help me out I will be super grateful. Cheers

This is such an exciting build man, hopefully we'll bump into each other next year and this will be done, shredding too! Brads doing BDC next year so should be at most of the events and I'm also doing the extreme torque show again. Be good to see you there.

I have a Import and was wondering if anyone knew what caliper upgrades (front) will fit on a Zed? I have been looking at Nissan GTR (R32) calipers and 300ZX ones but not sure if they will fit. Good question but the original BOSE one was in there before so the space was designed for it. I made sure I cushioned every bit of metal to metal so that there was no rattle when I cranked it up. Sounds mint and you get a cheeky back massage when you put a dirty sound on
