I feel for you dude, My engine shat the bed 2 weeks ago and it currently being rebuilt. I had to bite the bullet as the company I bought my zed from dissapeared, well they now trade under a different name "big boys toys" Apparently this happens with some smaller car dealer or should I say con artists!! So I know exactly how you feel. It was good of them to sort the other bits out but 13k is a mental price for a new engine, you can buy 2 zeds for that. Hope you get it sorted mate. Go for the rebuild then you can start from fresh knowing the engines been looked after.

I have a import and I was always lead to believe they have a 85L fuel tank and the UK one has a 80L tank. I did read it some where, i'll try and find it.

I had the same problem about 2 months ago and now my car is in the garage having an engine rebuild. VQ35 engines hate it when they are starved of oil, thet get all upset and poop the bed. hopefully this wont happen to you

Mine came with a Sterling alarm as the standard fob doesn't work. I only have one fob and don't have much faith/knowledge on the current alarm hence why I want to waste my money on a decent one. Also I'm having my engine rebuilt and new exhaust so I'd like to protect it as much as I can. Know what I mean?

Did you manage to get these swapped? as I am interested and my car is in watford at the moment

Once I get my car back from having the engine rebuilt I want to put a better alarm in my pride and joy. I already have a Sterling alarm but I only have one fob! hence why I want a new one and a decent one. I am expecting to pay about £300 - £450. Would like to know what you guys have and preferably one that does go off when the wind changes ha ha.

There is an easy fix for this, Hold on to it tight so it doesn't wobble. Problem solved!!! I'm kidding mine does that to especially when I'm going fast (below 70mph of course) but its not that bad.
