So, two days ago, my day off, i just happen to look out of the window and gaze lovingly at my Zed when, i spy a woman reversing into the space in front of it. Now this space is about two car lengths. I decide to watch, just in case she uses my car as some sort of buffer...and low and behold, before i can scream 'STOP STOP STOPPPP' she reverses at about 5 mph into the front of it, pushing it back about 10 inches!! Fuming, i dash out and confront her saying 'do you realise youve just hit my car!!!'. 'no' she says!!! I said 'you must have known, you've just shunted my car back about a foot!!'...'No i didn't' she said. 'YOU DID!!' i said. Unfortunately i let out a 'FOR F SAKE i just saw you do it, dont lie, JESUSSS BE MORE CAREFUL!!!'. At this point she looked at me in a rather disgusted manner and stormed off, staring at me like i was a piece of dirt on her shoe!!...The irony is, is that surely, I should be looking at HER in the same manner after SHE'D JUST FLIPPIN' BLINKIN' HIT MY CARRRR!!!!!...AND THEN DENIED IT!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LEARN TO DRIVE!!!! Anyway, surprisingly, do damage, but what a relaxed way to start your day off!! Rant over.

I tend to drive with it on although occasionally i'll turn it off. It is surprising how much warning you get when youre about to hit the limit. Decent tyres are always a must for me though. Its worth spending the money. My Zed really does handle well and although im no lewis Hamilton, i have learnt the zeds ways since ive had it and its a very well balanced car in my humble opinion. But, whether its on or off, its a great car, full of sexy curves, pretty quick and full of torque...and gets a whole bunch of admirers...which is nice!!

You can remove it, its nothing like window film, just get it warm and it should peel off in one piece, sometimes leaves the adhesive behind though but that can be removed with a tar and glue remover. One thing i would say though, if youve had a crappy respray (im sure you havnt lol!!) you cant guarantee it wont pull your paint off when you remove it!!

Fair point, maybe it was a bit of a hijack although was never meant to be. Although Mike did originally offer to lend his kit so that i could template it. Maybe i'll set up another thread. What do you think Mike?

As i said, ive no concrete price set yet and i want to provide a good kit with value for money. BUT, the kit im making will be in bubble free wrapping vinyl, digitally printed and laminated for protection so it will be a very good quality one, plus you'll be able to tailor it to your own car colourwise should you wish!

Just to be clear, some companies supply the kit as one thing ie a templated shape of the whole of the front spoiler for example. Im not intending to do this, im gonna make a kit that you piece together so it will be in various shapes and sizes, nothing too big...mainly because i want to make a kit that people can fit themselves OR if theyre not confident, get someone to fit for them but arnt gonna charge the earth to fit as they should be cut in reasonable bitesize chunks! Im gonna see how this goes, make one and fit it so you can see how it will look so that you know what youd be getting. It'll be similar to how we fit police car reflectives ie battenburg markings/chevron kits.
