  1. check my dyno a week on tuesday. i wil let you know. Will do!! what sort of costings are you looking at and which set up??
  2. Ok ive delved into this a little, very interesting, im thinking going for the resonator and hfc option although interested in the Cobra too...just need to find and compare prices, heres a good link: http://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/554175-motordyne-art-pipe-and-xyz-review-module-test.html
  3. Are these de cats? Yes, which is why you need the xyz y pipe with the cat in it. Those are the ones I mentioned in my post. Great setup if you have the cash and those 2nd hand would make it about the same price as the cobra kit. Ahhh right i see...excuse im ignorance!! Thanks. Gonna look into this.
  4. Ok, so what sort of benefits to performance are we looking at and roughly what sort of cost? Obviously im not expecting silly BHP but curious!!
  5. Basically im wanting something a little less restrictive than oem cats and y pipe...but not wanting to go the mot fail route!!
  6. Hi chaps, Im thinking about replacing my standard cats and y pipe with something better...its a bit of a mine field out there so im wondering if anyone can advise as to what cats and y pipe to opt for...at the mo i have a 3" custom mid pipe, plenum spacer and piper cross filter...any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks!!
  7. Remember to ask for the Avery Supreme (thats the vinyl range) black metallic!! Thats what Bulletmagnet went for!
  8. Avery Gloss Black Metallic Yup thats the one!! Thats Avery SUPREME gloss black metallic to you!!
  9. Wax is fine on wraps, treat it the same as if it were a normal paint job. Waxing will mean you shouldnt need to polish it. Also, some wrapping films are designed to lessen light scuffs when heated. Basically they disappear when you go over it with a heat gun...dont over heat though. Hope this helps. By the way, if youre thinking of wrapping it black, id use avery supreme, it has a higher gloss finish than materials like hexis and 3m.
  10. No doubt it. You will need a repspray first and then have this fitted. This is a clear film, so if you don't have a replay first you will still see your chips yup youre right, you'll need a respray first then cover in the protection kit. If its car wrapping youre talking about, this wont really protect the car from stone chips either. Im respraying my bumper first then applying the kit.
  11. I wrap for a living...the wrap has to be removed prior to a new wrap being fitted. The wrap should be reasonably easy to remove as thats what its designed to do so shouldnt be brittle unless a non wrap material was used...or some crap vinyl from china!!...keep away!! Wrapping isnt easy, there are rules that you have to stick to, if you adhere to these rules then you shouldnt have a problem. Post heating is a must. If you dont post heat to the recommended temperature your wrap WILL fail. Wraps are not cheap...its like anything, buy cheap you get cheap. Dont get your Zed wrapped for less than 1700...it may look good but will have been rushed, finishing wont be up to scratch, lights, indicators, badges, aerials etc etc may not have been removed and short cuts may well have been taken including cutting on the car...a no no. I always use Avery Supreme, its the best wrapping material, id only use this on my zed, 3m and hexis are good too but not as good as Avery in my humble opinion. As Scott said, if youve had a bad respray, wrapping it will damage the paintwork and as Stevo said, wrapping and cheap dont go together!! At the end of the day, your Zed deserves the best!! Shop around, ask questions like how long will it take (usually 3 days), what material (go for Avery supreme) and lastly how much!!! Good luck buddy.
  12. Oi what's my missus doing washing your blinking car!!

    Wheel nuts!!

So, ive been searching for some decent wheel nuts and i found these Rays on ebay, what do you think or can you recommend any others!! Long or short? Thanks chaps!! http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3394645f23
  19. Hahaha actually ive seen that done, it actually looks very effective!! Im sure youre being serious!!
  20. Personally i wouldnt as it can lift the wrap if you ever want to remove them...its happened to me before.
  21. Like anything, worth doing properly or not at all, just out of interest how much would you say a decent vinyl wrap material would cost for a Zed? Maybe the £950 was just to spray, prep,& wrap the bonnet & roof Wrapping material can cost around 20 to 35 quid a metre, id only use Avery Supreme these days, 3m and Hexis are reasonably good but nowhere near Avery. Bulletmagnets roof was done in Avery.
