    Wheel Refurb

They had mine in for 2 days as i had the valves replaced with racing ones...their idea, a good bit of advice i thought so had it done and didnt regret it one bit.
  3. Hi all, i had these Rays as spares for the winter and was going to fit winter tyres on them but never got round to it! So ive decided they need to go to a good home. Theyre in pretty good condition, there are a few curb marks (not me!!) but nothing that bad, There's a little life left in the tyres too. There are also a couple of paint splashes, more like drops on two of them which were there when i bought them but they'll come off easily enough, i just never got round to doing it!! I'd rather the buyer comes to collect, i'm in West Sussex, near Haywards Heath, also that way you can get a good look at them!! Im after £375 for them. Thanks chaps.
  4. Glad you sorted it. £1700!!!!....and there was me thinking they were 'sportscar insurers'!!? errrrrrrr Tell me about it! To be fair the guy I spoke to was nice enough to tell me I'd be better off elsewhere anyway and apologised that he couldn't do any better. Well that's another year sorted, now just gotta wait 6 months to be hit with the £500 road tax hahaha yup my tax is due at the end of this month!!!!!!!!!

  6. One thing to remember, make sure you have a little more cash tucked away as you WILL end up getting bitten by the mod disease, i naively bought mine will no intention of modding but thanks to Payco who now seems to be my mod agent i have run up a rather large bill.
  7. how did you get on with AXA??

Is this just a powdercoat or a diamond cut on the lip? They did a good job if that is a powdercoat Its a powdercoat...theyre great guys, what impressed me was the enthusiasm they showed and the pride they showed in their profession. Nice to see. It wasnt about getting the car in and out, it was about doing a good job. Ive been holding out to get mine diamond cut but you really wouldnt know the difference looking at that. Any ides on the colour they went for? If you put diamond cut next to these then youd notice but im happy enough with the finish.

  12. Is that curb wrapped? ie looks good parked on a street or things like the insides of the doors? Yup curb wrapped although we do fold slightly into the shuts so that you cant see any of the old colour. Door shuts can be done but cost a little extra...but being theres only 2 doors then its not going to be loads.
  13. Hurry up and buy one!! I love mine!! Plus you'll have full back up on here, there's some great owners on here, full of knowledge and always willing to help out. You'll love every minute owning your zed...try not to look at yourself as you pass large shop windows though!!!!
  14. Just take an xyz HFC y pipe with you, bout £500, designed for de cats!!...it has its own cat I believe.
  15. We'd charge no less than £1800 to wrap a zed, although may go slightly lower for a forum member. I'd personally stay away from plastidip, I've used it and found it to be not as durable as I thought it was going to be but each to their own. To wrap it should take 3 days. On your own maybe 4. Don't use any material other than avery supreme or 3m. Don't use hexis as they're admitting they material is not up to scratch. You'll need heat guns, thermo and wrapping gloves, a scalpel and blades, hexis no 13 cleaner and a dry warm area to wrap your car...should you decide to do it yourself!!...personally I'd go to someone that knows what they're doing. It's harder than you think!! But good luck in whatever you decide to do!!
  16. Let us know how you get on!
  17. I'd go panel filter and a plenum spacer from wasso,
  18. Try AXA, they quoted me £320 comprehensive for my zed.
