1. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless. But stock it doesnt run at 295
 2. Id never had a run prior to this.
 3. Thanks although im thinking it could be as much as 9bhp Payco.
 4. Yeah i was a doubter i must admit. Proves its woth doing and answers a few questions. I dont have photos apart from the dyno readout above!
 5. I was surprised though, its pretty much gained 18-20hp so far, without spending a huge amount. I think these mods are a pretty good guide as to what youre going to get from your cars performance if one is thinking about modding without spending a fortune. Mine now has much more torque than before and a little louder but not in a bad way.
 6. Not yet but im thinking about it now, may get an xzy HFC y pipe and then uprev...I think ive done just about the main things to benefit from an uprev map.
 7. As Ekona said! Pretty basic mods...plus the midpipe has no box now.
 8. So, after a few reasonably inexpensive mods this was how my dyno tested, mines a 2005... Pretty pleased with the results although now i have the uprev bug.
 9. Ok, so did dyno run with Art Pipes fitted, heres the results...
 10.
Not that I've done it but you could always just leave the standard cats on for mot then whip them off and put some decats on. quick 15 min job
Yup thats what im intending on doing if i dont get the xyz HFC pipe fitted. Bit of a pain but its only once a year!
 11. Ahhh ok. Had my Art pipes fitted today. Sounds nice!!
 12.

I think an uprev may be worth doing after the Art pipes and xyz are fitted!...although ive heard conflicting stories on its results but im thinking art pipes and xyz may do the trick with uprev. Ive done all the other gubbins.
Yeah, moving the cat further down the exhaust chain apparently has an effect on torque after an uprev.... if I remember from what Mark@abbey was telling me ages ago.
did he uprev your car?
 13. The art pipes are going on on wednesday! so the HFC's will be going on shortly as soon as i get the funds! Good to know you can supply! Luckily i dont need an mot for 11 months although i want to get the y pipe fitted as soon as.
 14. Hahaha! Thanks! I'l be in touch then! How well does this work with the Art pipes? Well worth it? Have you had any feedback?
 15. Im hoping i may find one on here!!...rather than buying from the USA!! Can anyone help or quide me to a seller on here? Thanks all!!

 17.

Id be interested to know if anyone has fitted de cats and an XYZ HFC pipe and passed a legit MOT.
I had the ARTs+XYZ/HFC combo on my HR and it passed, sometimes it required a second run to to warm up but that's not really an issue. I accidentally went decatted when I got a custom titanium exhaust made and they did it from the decats back rather than the XYZ/HFC pipe back... it's a pain to have to go to a friendly MOT tester to be honest, but not enough for me to bother replacing the ARTs.
ahhhh sounds promising then!! Did you notice any drivability improvement with this combo?
 18. I'll probably end up buying the XYZ HFC pipe!!...and see what happens!!
 19.
I have the Art decats mated to the XYZ HFC and the 370 has passed mot every year. ( so far)
Ahhh!! Great!! No questions asked by the tester? Are you happy with the results?
 20. I suppose if any cat can, the motordyne cat can!!...hopefully. If not i'll do as Jetpilot does and change each year!
 21.
Fitting decats wouldn't keep me up at night, put it that way;)
Hahaha i wish you were an MOT tester!!!
 22.
I believe it is an offence under Construction and Use to modify a car in a manner that emissions would be increase thats in addition to the MOT regs , some pre 1995 vehicles have exemption under the mot on emission but it depends on the tester
I'll be chatting with a tester on monday morning then!! I can see the arguments for and against. Although im sure there are far more cars on the road pushing out more emissions than the zed!
 23.
99% that a cat MUST be present if fitted at factory and must pass emissions. However they don't stick a scope up the zorst to see if the honeycomb is in there or if it's a high flow cat. With hfcs and correct emissions i'll near guarantee you'll be fine. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Cool. Looking forward to the end results as ive heard and read theyre the real deal.
 24.

Is my understanding. Providing there is a catalytic coverter which passes emissions then yes. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Sounds promising. Would love to hear an MOT testers opinon.
An MOT tester is unlikely to post up on a PUBLIC forum about what he does and doesn't give leniency on during an MOT.
They may shed a little light on the matter though...although i know what you mean!
