  1. Thats interesting, they got a 76% rating in the wet. Depends on the car it was tested on maybe.
  2. I thought id post this as i thought this was pretty informative...We all know (well most of us!!) that owning a zed involves choosing a good make of tyre, unless you want to kill yourself!! So heres a tyre review for owners of 19'' rims!! Once youve chosen your tyre, try visiting www.oponeo.co.uk! I saved a fair few quid from these guys compared with most of the other online tyre companies...hopefully you can save a few £££ too. http://www.tyrerevie...P-Tyre-Test.htm
  3. They didn't work for me. Nor me, my engine light came on after about 30ish miles, uprev will get rid of it.
  4. 1. Deano94 - 350z DE ART test pipes 2. delz0r - 350z DE ART test pipes 3.GreenLandy - 350z DE plenum spacer (standard one) 4. S7nny - 350z DE plenum spacer (standard one) 5. SamU23 - DE Basic Plenum Spacer (potentially ART decat and XYZ depending on price) 6. Zippypooz - TDX2 Catback Exhaust System (potentially!)
  5. Tempting!! Obviously you'll be doing a group buy, with voucher code and membership discount!!??
  6. I hope so!! I already have the Art pipes so am looking forward to fitting this!...then its uprev time! You just need the TDX v2 to complete the motordyne awesomeness Yeah you read my mind...thats a true duel yes? Although means changing the xyz y pipe (i think)??!!!! Aghhhhhhhh!!Or is there a twin pipe that runs from the xyz? Whats the next best thing!!?
  7. I hope so!! I already have the Art pipes so am looking forward to fitting this!...then its uprev time!
  8. Personally id always go for the real deal over cheap. Id spend the extra and get a good fitment...plus if youre good at what you do, imagine the final result if you have a good kit to start with. I think that you'd get more satisfaction knowing you have a reliable, good, tried and tested mould, sprayed and finished by yourself. Just my opinion anyways.
  9. Haha...will do, i need to check the stone guard i made for you too as im wanting to sell these shortly!!
  10. This week i hope as i have the rest of the week off!!
  11. So here they are courtesy of Adrian at Torqen...almost look too nice to put on!!
  12. Bought mine from Adrian, nice bit of kit...as youd expect from Motordyne. Its the way forward if you de-cat. I did find i lost back pressure when i de-catted as i also have a boxless custom mid pipe, so hoping the HFC will help with that too.
  13. Just a quickie to thank Adrian at Torqen...Motordyne XYZ HFC pipe arrived today, a perfect addition to my Motordyne De-cats...well packaged and in pristine condition!! Now for the fitting part!! Thanks bud.
  14. Two totally different cars really. I'd still err on the side of the zed...purely for its looks, plus you do see an awful lot of focus's around. I just don't get excited by its looks whereas the zed is still a stunning looking car imo.
  15. Make sure they use avery supreme!!!!! It's high gloss.
  16. Hi buddy, £300 is a very good price, although check what vinyl is being supplied. Dont use Hexis, 3m is good but i use Avery Supreme...by far the best and the glossiest. Dont do it yourself, get a pro to do it. But do your homework and find a good company as there are a fair amount of 'so-called' wrappers out there.
  17. Taken all my mods off now...who wants a pair of motordyne art pipes?
  18. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless. But stock it doesnt run at 295 Correct. However dyno's are not accurate machines. For example - My VXR8 showed a 34hp difference between 2 different dyno's within the same week. Without a base dyno run on the SAME dyno without your mods, you don't know what you have or haven't gained. Sorry to be negative on your thread mate, it's just a run over from a previous thread that myself and Dave were involved in. Well maybe i need to get it dyno'd elsewhere to compare. What i will say this that there more noticable torque which is nice. Why? Its not a comparison, its a different dyno and a different day. The only reasonably close comparison would be dyno in the morning, do the mods, dyno in the afternoon and even then something as simple as air intake temp could throw the readings. Forget the figures buddy, dynos are for tuning, the only thing hp figures are good for is pub talk. If your happy and feel there is an improvement thats all that matters well theres definitely an improvement from stock so yup im happy enough!
  19. Wewll as long as ive made 'some' gains then im happy!

  21. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless. But stock it doesnt run at 295 Well no, but dynos are not gospel and 100% accurate, it may well have read 295 on that dyno before the mods is what is being said. My old tuner could make the dyno read any figure he wanted by putting in different figures to get the corrected power. Dynos are tuning tools and nothing more, the figures should be taken with a pinch of salt buddy. I know they can differ but i do know the dyno used is pretty accurate, i do concede to some points though...but overall id like to think there is a tiny bit of truth in the reading. At least its up not down! All i can do is post the reading, make of it what you will.
  22. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless. +1 and you cant compare one dyno to another or a dyno pull on one day with another As long as it drives well , thats all that matters All ive done is post the dyno, the car was standard, with maybe a little loss of hp with age, ive done the mentioned mods and theres the dyno reading. Im sure the car wasnt 295 when built.
